Birthday

Diana and Mia was preparing for Mia's birthday.

Diana: Finally we got rid of her. No one will come between you and your prince charming.

Myung-Soo was passing by the room. He heard the word pocket watch. So He started eavesdropping.

Mia: But I must say your idea of breaking his pocket watch was the best one and put the blame on that nerdy bitch.

Myung-Soo was about to entered the room and slapped both of them but then he realised doing so won't repair his watch.
He went back in his room, he was kind of feeling guilty for what he has done with Miki. That poor girl was innocent. Then his eyes fall on a little pink note along with his watch on the table beside his bed.
*Smile it is repaired now*

He knew this handwriting, it was Louis who wrote this. He went downstairs and searched for him. He was in the kitchen preparing late night snack.
He showed him the note.

Myung-Soo: The handwriting maybe yours but the words are not. And as far as I know you, you don't like pink! Who repaired it?

Louis : The answer is obvious. But 'the person' told me not to reveal the name.

Myung-Soo: When is 'the person' coming back? Miki is the only one who can do this. She even accepted the blame.

Louis: You did not leave her any choice except accepting the blame. Shouldn't you be happy, at least she is out of your way.

Myung-Soo: Stop rubbing salt on my wound. Where is she? Why she has not come yet. It is rather late now.

Louis: She worked night shift. She thought that more time she will spend outside the house more convenient it will be for you.

Myung-Soo: By what time will she come back?

Louis: Maybe by 11. 30 pm.

Kim: What! How can she stay outside so late. Does any one accompanied her?

Louis: No she come alone.

Mia came downstairs in short nightie with two dresses.

Mia: Baby I can't choose which one to wear on my birthday.

Myung-Soo: Wear what ever you want.

Mia: Baby why are you rude. What did I do. You are not giving me any attention. It is like you are avoiding me.

Myung-Soo: It is only your imagination. I am sleepy. I am going to sleep and don't disturb me.

Myung-Soo went in his room and waited for Miki.
Every lights were switched off. Everyone was sleeping soundly except for Louis and Myung-Soo. Miki finally arrived home.
Myung-Soo quickly came out of his room, seeing a completely drenched girl whose head was being dried by Louis.
Louis: Myung-Soo was searching for you.

Miki: Huh why?? Does he know about his watch. What did you write on the note.

Louis: You said smile it is repaired now.

Miki: I did not tell you to write that I was just giving an example. I don't know what he will think of me now.

Louis : By the way, how come that you drenched. You did bring an umbrella with you!

Miki: I found a lost girl, She was crying so I helped her searched for mom and I gave her the umbrella. Forget about umbrella I am kind of hungry today. I hope there is something for me.

Louis looked upstairs and saw Kim standing watching them. Miki followed Louis's eyes and meet Myung-Soo's eyes.
Her eyes widen 😨
She bowed quickly to Kim.

Miki: I am not hungry I just remembered I forgot something outside. I will be back.

Miki went in the garden and waited for Louis to text her when she can came in.

Miki: Aaaarrrggg it is so cold. Why is he not sleeping. It is really late.

*in the house*

Myung-Soo was about to followed her.

Louis : Don't. Not tonight. If you want you can talk to her tomorrow. You know what day it is tomorrow right!

Myung-Soo nodded and went in his room.

Louis told Miki to came back in the house.

Miki: Woah I was shocked seeing his face like that. Why is he not sleeping, it is rather unusual for him to stay up this late.

Louis : Go and take a hot shower, I will bring dinner in your room.

Miki: Yep. Ohh I forgot. I am off tomorrow. Don't worry I won't get involved in anything. I will just stay in my room the whole day.😊
Miki are dinner and went to sleep.

*The next day*

Someone knocked on Miki's door. She went to open the door and saw a really big teddy bear. She hugged it and then saw a little birthday card written *Happy Birthday From Kim Myung-Soo *

Miki: Ohh so you came to the wrong door.
She pulled the teddy bear to Mia's room and then knocked and ran back to her room.

Mia opened the door.

Mia: Woooooooww This is the best gift ever.

Myung-Soo at that moment opened his door.
Mia hugged him and kiss him on the cheeks.
Myung-Soo wished her and went downstairs.
Myung-Soo*thought*: I placed it in front of Miki's room then how did it reached to Mia's room.

Louis: She was happy when she received it but when she saw your name she thought the teddy bear arrived at the wrong destination so she brought it in front of Mia's room.

Myung-Soo : It will be difficult to talk to her, She is really making it hard for me to feel her presence.

Louis: This was what you wanted.
Kim: Tchh, Stop I got it.

The whole house was being decorated. Mia's hairstylist was not here yet and the party was about to start.
Miki heard Diana talking in the phone so she took her stylist kit and went in their room without Kim saw her.

Diana: What are you doing here? Don't think of---

Miki: I won't. Let me do your hair! If you want I can do it on this girl hair then you decide.

Diana: No need! Do it on her hair directly.

Mia: But she will ruin--

Diana: No she won't, trust me.

After 30 Minutes Miki was done with both Diana and Mia hair. They were looking stunning.

Miki: You guys look absolutely gorgeous.

Diana: I know we are already pretty. By the way happy birthday ugly.

Miki: Thanks, now go downstairs everyone is waiting for you.

Mia: Happy Birthday and make sure no one should see you.

Miki: Thanks and yes ma'am.

She escaped quickly back to her room.

Mia: She is a weird one. Even after causing so much trouble to her she still helped us.

Diana: Why are you wasting time thinking about unimportant people. Think about your prince charming who is waiting for you.
Come on let's go.

Meanwhile when everybody was busy around Mia. Miki went outside with the cake that Louis baked for her.
No body cared whether she was there or not. Myung-Soo was searching for her but could not find her. After Mia cutted the cake. Myung-Soo went outside on the balcony to get fresh air. There he saw a little figure sitting down with a cake.
Miki lit the candle and made a wish before blowing them. Then she noticed the strayed dogs surrounded her. She ate a little piece of the cake and gave the rest to the dogs.

Myung-Soo was surprised by this scene. A girl celebrating her birthday with stray dogs and still there was an smile on her face.

Myung-Soo knew he could have changed all this instead of staying quiet the whole time. In place of Mia, it could have been Miki in the centre of attention.
So he decided no matter what he will break up with Mia and choose Miki and gave her all the happiness she deserved.
