Trevor was still in shock. Not long ago, Persephone, the goddess of the Underworld and immortal wife of Hades, visited Camp. He could remember her warm glare and her words that seemed to stab him. Not only that, his father also gave him a gift and he expected him to do the given quest.

Now Trevor was inside the Big House. Chiron has called for an emergency meeting with Trevor and the Cabin counselors. They were all seated gathered on a long table. Trevor recognized a few of them. Clarisse La Rue was seated on her chair with her arms crossed. Will Solace was on the chair beside Trevor, polishing his bow. Malcolm, the assistant counselor of the Athena Cabin, was scribbling notes on his notepad. Drew, from the Aphrodite Cabin, was busy combing her hair. Lou Ellen, from the Hecate Cabin, levitated on her chair playfully. Clovis, from the Hypnos Cabin, slept with his head laying on the table while he drooled. Conner and Travis Stoll, co-counselors of the Hermes Cabin, drew on Clovis' face with permanent marker. Trevor wasn't familiar with the other Cabin counselors. A girl from the Hephaestus Cabin tinkered with her wrist-watch. The counselor of the Dionysus Cabin chugged down a few glasses of grape juice. Trevor just sat there quietly, his pale complexion became rather paler as he remembered the events from earlier.

Chiron galopped in. Everyone stopped what they were doing and gave their attention to Chiron…well, except for Clovis, who was still asleep.

Then he spoke. "Trevor, you're obviously expected by Hades and Persephone to take on the quest." Chiron said.

"Yeah, it's a real huge pressure for me. But I'll have to do it." Trevor replied. He looked down and began to shift his feet. "My father expects me to do the quest. I—I can't let him down—"

"Though I don't think you should do the quest," Chiron interrupted him. "I think its best if we have more experienced Campers to perform the quest."

Everyone's eyes were now focused on Chiron. Everyone had serious and confused looks on their faces.

"Chiron, just like what you said. Hades—I mean Dad—expects me to do the quest. So does Persephone! I've gotta do it! By completing this quest, I can prove my worth as a Son of Hades!" Trevor convinced.

"I am not under-estimating you, but I don't think you're ready yet. In addition to that, your strong smell alerts all nearby monsters. You'd be in great danger outside the Camp. I think it's best that you train first before you do a quest." said Chiron.

Thalia joined in. "Which is why he'd do Hades proud if he pulls off this quest." she said. "Give him a chance!"

"I still do not think he should do it." Chiron insisted. "I am quite sure that Zeus isn't aware of the existence of another child of Hades. He'll be furious if he finds out about Trevor's heritage. The gods are already having enough problems up there on Olympus! It's best if we don't add more problems to their attention."

Malcolm dropped his pen and notepad on the table and said. "I agree with Chiron. It would be troublesome to have Zeus' anger fall upon us. Plus, who knows what he'll do if he does find out about Trevor's parental heritage?"

The female counselor of the Demeter Cabin joined in. "I think it's best if Trevor skips this one out. It's bad enough that we have to deal with Gaea and all. We don't need another problem to come our way."

Trevor analyzed at the reactions of the counselors. Some weren't sastisfied with the reasoning, while others agreed.

Chiron spoke again. "I suggest that the hero to lead this quest be selected from Cabin 5." he glanced at Clarisse.

Clarisse slammed her hand on the table. Everyone was startled and turned to her. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I refuse!" she said. "No child of Ares will lead a quest that is meant for a child of Hades. This quest is specifically meant for Trevor, therefore it is only right for him to take part in it and lead the quest."
