After the haunting verse that Trevor had heard, Chiron and the senior campers came into the scene. The red-haired girl shook her head and gave Trevor a questioning look.

"I'm sorry. Who are you?" she asked.

Chiron stepped in. "Rachel!" he called.

"Chiron! Fancy meeting you here." she said.

"What brings you to Camp Half-Blood?" Chiron asked.

Rachel touched her chin with her finger. "Hmm… I just dropped by to say 'hello' to Annabeth."

Chiron sighed. "Well, she's not here at the moment."

"Aww, pity," said Rachel. She suddenly diverted her eyes to Trevor. "Who's this?"

"I'm, uh…Trevor Addams, son of Hades." he said nervously. He was still taunted by the prophecy he had just heard.

Rachel scratched her head. "Did I just chant a prophecy?"

Everyone exchanged looks. Chiron butted in and introduced Rachel. "Trevor, this is Rachel Elizabeth Dare. She's the Oracle of Delphi."

"Sorry if I freaked you out back there." she giggled.

"What did she mean by that prophecy?" Trevor asked.

Alice held his shoulder and said, "No one knows, as of now."

"She's right. You'll find out what it means throughout your quest." added Rachel.

"In any case, you must get going now." reminded Chiron.

Trevor was reminded of the urgent quest. He got too caught up with the prophecy that he lost thought of the urgent matter.

"Chiron's right." said Trevor, "We have to get going."

"Where are you guys off to?" asked Rachel. "I can give you a ride."

"That would be really be a huge help to us." said Alex.

Rachel Elizabeth Dare glanced at Alex. Her eyes opened wide and her face started to look illuminated, as if she'd seen some gorgeous male supermodel (which was exactly how Alex looked like). Alex had this effect on almost all girls—well, except for the Hunters of Artermis and Blair Cartwright.

"Uh… um, let's go?" she stuttered as her face flushed into a slight blush.

When Rachel said she could give them a ride, Trevor thought they'd be cruising in a normal car. It turned out that Rachel Elizabeth Dare was filthy rich, so quest takers were then currently aboard a helicopter.

Trevor relaxed his back on the soft cushions of the luxurious helicopter. He wondered how this quest will turn out. Forget how it'll turn out, Trevor thought. How in Hades' name would they start the quest, he wondered. He had no idea where to go looking for the three-headed Underworld guard dog.

Suddenly, a voice spoke in his mind. Son of Hades, said the foreign voice. This quest is a waste of time. Abandon your friends and forget this non-sense of a quest. Go straight to Underworld and seek me.The voice was dark and cold. Trevor's spine tingled as it spoke in his head.

"W-who are you?" said Trevor out loud.

Alex and Alic turned and faced the pale boy.

Alex shot him a confused look. "What?"

"N-nothing." replied Trevor. "I just thought I heard something."

Alex nodded and turned his gaze away from the son of Hades. Trevor waited for a reply in his head. He counted up to 10. No reply. He swayed the thought out of his head and focused on the task at hand.
