A CONVERSATION

Son, so you took the truth serum
I see, your points of erasure are here.
You have quite the fetish to relish radical strains
Another modern penchant for Sociology of some kind
Its quite a surprising detour.

You call  us capitalist dwarfs
Unpaid stipends likened to a norm, stiff upper lips.
A blot on my name,I reckon.

Hate thy father and your dues will be put in the flatterer's will.
What scant value for such tasteful legacy, boy.

Look at this legion of like minded sorcery.
Do not be like Cordelia,
the ancient narrative is compromised now.
Laminated virtue isn't worth a shilling here.
My boy, reattach shrapnels of dissipation on your body,
You can't surely challenge the hereditary clause.

I see banners of the red dragon have convinced you.
But that's not enough to renounce this gold rush.
The jackpot is to be unearthed by you,my child.

What a tragedy you support this blue collar high rise with!
Nineteen and yet so saintly,
so as to discard this upper hand
What naivete?
Or what adamant,temporary   token cry?

These tendencies will sway you,
persuade you.
But these cuff links will trounce your will power, you guileless fool.

"Father, pardon me, for I cannot argue much.
I am an artist, not a juggler.
This is an arch necropolis, and you know it,
its far from your lively initiatives.

No standard issue ideology or sloganeering for any movement persists here,Father.

I take my leave now,
the only just explication
Perhaps I inherited my mother's side of simple measures.

Now go on and commission a blot in my name
Or if filial love persuades you,
think of me as an artist,
not as a thankless rascal for life..

Oh Father , a guileless anchor
who auctions works of art,a patron and never expects me to chant Liberal Humanities
The one who weeps for Jesus's nativity Tale,
expects me to conserve my water and not shed a drop for soiled babes out there.
A cruel proposition
Father, you are an honest juggler of fortunes,
The least covert in your professions.

I take my leave now".
