It had been 2 weeks since Parker took me on the London eye and the only thing he occasionally says is hello before ignoring me for the rest of the time he is around me, I guess Parker only seen that meal as a way to apologise and that was it.

As I travelled to the campus cafe to get a coffee I felt a presence appear next to me and as I looked at them my eyes widened in surprise. "Parker what are you doing?" I asked and he smirked. "I'm coming for my morning coffee, what else would I be doing walking with you?" He asked and I rolled my eyes. "How comes I never see you every morning then?" I asked and he shrugged. "I usually come earlier but today I had to be somewhere." He said as we approached the cafe door.

He opened it and held it open for me. "Thanks." I said smiling at him and he nodded. I ordered my coffee and Parker ordered his. Before I had the chance to pay Parker slipped the cashier the money and grabbed my coffee and headed off to find a table. I stood there for a moment dazed to what just happened so quickly before I followed him to the booth that he had chosen.

"You didn't have to do that." I said as I sat down opposite me. "I need to apologise," he frowned, "again." He added and I rolled my eyes. "Parker you haven't done anything wrong." I have Sierra, you know it." He sighed before taking a sip of his coffee. "I ignored you ever since that night on the London eye, and it wasn't your fault, I just needed time." He started off. "Time for what?" I asked confused. "Time to tell you why the thought of the Eiffel Tower upset me, time for me to move on." He frowned. I sat there in silence as he took a breath and carried on. "When I started here when I was younger, I was never well liked. One day a girl came up to me and asked me to come and sit with her for dinner and of course I wanted to because I had no friends. I sat down on the table and she introduced me to all of her friends. Chase, Tobias, Jo and of course Poppy was sat with them because she was friends with everybody. She also introduced herself as Eliza. Automatically we all became best friends and we all became inseparable and earned the name the perfects because apparently we were all perfect or whatever." He said rolling his eyes before carrying on. "Fast forward to three years ago, me and Eliza started dating and we soon became madly in love, but with her being my girlfriend started all the hate she began to get. She continually got told to kill herself and that she was a pathetic little girl. And you want to know who was behind it all?" He asked as anger flashed over his face. I nodded lightly. "Veronica," he spat angrily. "She was always jealous of anyone that even dared to talk to me but I didn't ever think it was escalate to her saying and doing the things she did. She left blades off razors outside her door, packets of pills and threatening notes. I never knew about this because Eliza kept it a secret, not wanting anyone to know that her life wasn't as perfect as everyone thought it was. After around 6 months of dating I came to pick her up to go for a date but when there wasn't a response to me knocking on her door, I knew something was wrong." He said as his voice became shaky as he relived all of his memories. "I grabbed my key that she always kept under her doormat and opened the door, I yelled out her name but never got a response. I saw the bathroom light was on so I ran to see if she was in there and she was, but there was blood everywhere and she wasn't breathing." He said as a tear slipped out or his eye. "The doctor said she was dead when I found her." He sighed as I wiped the tears off his face. "On our last ever date I took her to the Eiffel Tower, where I told her I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. It was a beautiful night, it was perfect. And 2 weeks ago reminded me of it, that night was perfect too." He said as a ghost of a smile danced along his lips. "Parker I-" I started but he cut me off. "Don't you dare say you are sorry Sierra or I will pour that coffee over you." He groaned and I chuckled. "But you know what I realised?" He asked and I nodded wanting him to carry on. "That ever since you came I knew that I was going to like you but I didn't want to accept the fact I was over Eliza." He said and my eyes widened.

As I was left speechless he stood up and smiled at me. "Come and see me when you want to talk about things. " he said before disappearing out of the cafe and all I was left with was a full cup of coffee and a shocked expression.
