My Life In The Gang

Chapter-1

Chance's POV:

I woke up to the sound of my phone blaring. I looked up and saw the caller ID, it was Ethan.

"Hello?" My voice a clear sign I had just woken up, morning voice. "Hey C, me and the guys are planning to go out for breakfast, nearby cafe, you down?" I looked to my left, my clock read 10:34 am.

Hmmph. Shocking that I slept so long

"Why not, could be good. Meet you at 11" I said, and hang up. After 20 minutes of struggle and morning routine I was ready. I put on my favorite jeans with red crop top. I thought about taking a jacket. Weather can be really unpredictable

I took my jacket and went to my living room to get my other belongings. But, as always, I was distracted by the mesmerizing view from my huge windows. This was the highest floor of the apartment building and I spent a lot of money to buy this place. Though I must say that it is worth it.

In front of me was the view consisted of different buildings, skyscrapers which were going through the clouds and high points of different trees in the Central park.

As I looked down I saw many people who were shuffling around. It's always lively. You won't ever get bored in here.

I locked my doors and went to the cafe. Upon entering, I saw Roxy. She waved wildly and brightly, motioning me to come over.

She is in charge of all of our weapons. I can already tell that she has two or three knives here with her.

I walked to the table, Ethan smiling at me as I came by. Josh and Drew were arguing about something, typical.

I shot a glance at Roxy, implying that she should tell me why they were arguing.

"No, you are lying to me dumb ass" Drew whined.

Josh smirked, "Yeah it is true you can't go on a date with some junk food."

Oh, I understand now. It's all about Drew's love of sweets & chips. "He was planning to go out with them and Josh is ruining his plans," Roxy told to me as I sit down near her.

Josh was near me so I smacked the back of his head. He turned to my side, "Which son of a bi-Oh, hi there, Chan. How's everything going??" He smiled innocently, causing all of us to laugh

Josh was really serious sometimes. But, he has a playful side too. Drew hugged me and we all ordered our breakfast. After the waitress brought our food, we began to speak of some of our missions. "Hey, do we have another mission in the next few days?" Roxy asked. I thought for a minute, trying to remember our schedule.

"No, we don't have anything important in the next few weeks." They all smiled. So, now we only have school problems to deal with. Yeah, you heard right-school. Josh, Ethan and I are in our senior year but Drew and Roxy are juniors.

We go to school because one, we need to and two, because we don't need anybody suspecting us. Regular people who don't deal with gangs or drugs don't know that we are all part of the gang. If we didn't go to school this could raise police's suspicion on us.

But at school, we have our reputation. To them, we are 'bad guys/girls' of school. Whatever that means. We finished our breakfast and went to the nearby park.

We laid in the grass, relaxing. These few weeks were full of planning and training so right now we are relaxing. It's only good for the soul.

"You know guys, I am so happy with where we are with things right now. . One day it might all get ruined but-"I started but, Roxy didn't let me finish.

"Don't talk like that. Even if gang flies to ruins, we will all be friends. Right guys?" Everyone nodded in response.

I got up and hugged them. Least I could do. After we got up and left to the group house of the gang. Roxy, Drew, Josh, Ethan are living in the same house.

They have all our weapons and gang-related things there, we also train in there too. That's like our hideout.

Others from the gang live in their own houses. But the higher-ups of the gang like us, live there. When we got there, we put some video games and began to play them.

Next morning, I woke up to the sound of our alarm. It sounds usually only on weekdays to wake us up for school.

I heard some groans near me and decided to open my eyes. I saw that we were all lying in the gaming room. Drew and Ethan were hugging each other while I was on top of the Roxy. I slowly got up and helped Roxy.

"What the heck happened last night??" Josh asked while rubbing his neck.

I shrugged and pointed to Drew and Ethan and we all laughed. Soon Drew woke up to our laughs. When he turned his head. He was so shocked, causing him to jump suddenly.

"What the fuck dude!! Move, you make me cheat on my candies!!" he whined while we continued to laugh. The situation was funny for us, not for them of course.

Then we heard Ethan's groans. He was as shocked as Drew. "Why you were hugging me, dude??" They screamed at the same time.

"Ok, chill guys. Get up and help me clean this mess." I told them. Then we heard the alarm again. Josh go and turns it off. Then I remembered, "Guys if we heard the alarm. That means we have school today!!" I panicked.

We may be gang members and we may love being late to school, but morning traffic are bitch. If we don't get out of the house in 10 minutes we would be the part of the biggest morning traffic.

We all scrambled to our rooms to get ready. I have some of my clothes here for cases like these. I got dressed and rushed outside. All of us get to our Range Rover and speed off to the School.
