"Please, Professor!" I was yelling and almost crying now, "I need to see him! Please! One last time!"
Professor McGonagall looked stunned as I climbed through the Floo Powder fire and into her office.
"I am very sorry to say that I don't understand what you mean," Professor McGonagall looked very nervous and scared.
"I will tell you everything when I get back!" I yelled over my shoulder as I ran towards the stone gargoyles that guarded the entrance to the headmaster's office.
"Chocolate frogs! Bertie Botts! Pumpkin pasties! Licorice whips!" I yelled out every candy or treat that I could think of. "Lemon drops! Pumpkin pie! Acid pops!"
"Try Sugarplums," came a cold, sour voice from behind me. Snape.
I spun around, and sure enough professor Severus Snape is standing behind me. I turned back around to face the gargoyles, and took his advice.
"Sugarplums," I said in a calm her voice, but I still show the urgency in my tone. Finally! The gargoyle sprung aside and revealed a spiraling staircase that led up to the headmasters office.
I sprinted up the stairs, leaving Snape behind. When I got to the door, I heard voices. Dumbledore and... Wait! No! It couldn't be!
