She's been gone,I waited. Days turned into week weeks turned into 2 months . She slept through her birthday. I sat next to her bed taking her small hand in mine.
"Happy 15 Grace" I smiled poorly a tear fell. A knock came from the door. I wiped it away fast and let go of her hand.
"Oh Ashton!" Chantelle cried at the sight of me. She ran over and hugged me I hugged her back.
"Why are you crying?" Graces soft voice spoke. She she's awake!I ran over "Grace!"
"Who's that?"
"W-what?"
"Move!" Dr. Sonny yelled nurses pulling me away I just got her back and now Im loading her all over again.
"Ashton?" Nicole said, graces mom.
"Yes?"
" can I talk to you?"
"um Grace and I are leaving "
"Where how long?"
"Were going to California"
"How long"
"To get way-"
"How long!" I yelled
"Forever "
"No"
"Well she's going I can't go she's going to be adopted "
"When?".
"Now"
"Can I say bye?" She nodded and I walked out side.
"G-Grace?" Her head turned and I walked over.
"You don't know me but but we were best friends"
"I'm sorry I don't remember" her accent was gone.
"Well, I love you"
