Chapter 4

*Raven's POV*

"RAVEN CLAM DOWN" I hear Daniel shout at me as my wolf takes over "We can't go after her while she’s over the border, let’s go home and contact the Golden Star Alpha. Okay?" I just grunt before turning and running back to the pack house letting my wolf clam down before I shift human again. 

When I finally go back to the pack house I find Daniel on the front porch with some shorts that he holds out to me as I shift human and pull them on "Alpha Jack has agreed for you and two other wolves to accompany you to collect her and the two boys she protects"

"Me, you, and Blake shall go" I say before mind linking my third in command, Blake 'Blake, meet me and Daniel by the border that Scarlet and the boys ran over'

'Yes alpha. I will be there soon.' he links back before we cut the link and Daniel and I take off staying in human form this time heading towards the border my wolf jumping for you at going and getting this girl.

When we reach the border Blake is already there along with a patrol form Alpha Jack's pack. They nod at us and then surround us taking us back to their pack house. 

*Scarlet's POV*

Running. Running and more running. I sigh as my wolf keeps running making sure Shawn’s wolf stays with us and Tommy is safe on her back. 

Can we please rest for a bit? Shawn looks tired, I tell my wolf 

Fine. But you need to train him to make him be able to run like us, she says before giving control back to me and I slow down and stop running

Damn we ran far' I say to myself as Shawn comes up to me panting

'Thank...god...your back...in control...' He says between breaths making me chuckle and I let Tommy down 

'We will camp here tonight' I tell them both through mind link before finding a tree and curling up under it, Tommy and Shawn curling up next to me.

*Raven’s POV*

After we arrive at their pack house Alpha Jack calls us in for a meeting where we explain how she ran onto our land awhile back and one day Daniel went to a foster home just looking for any runaway wolves and found her again, except this time when she ran away she ran onto his land and hopefully is still on it. He agrees to let us look for her but only if we actually keep her this time and if she is his mate to let her stay here. All of us agree and well. That brings us to where we are right now looking around the forest of the Golden Star pack.

“Raven can we please go home?” Daniel asks me after we look through another section of the woods

“Not until we find her!” I snap

“Wouldn’t this be easier in like wolf form?”

“I don’t want to scare her off again”

“Alpha! I found a scent mixed with a small unshifted boy!” Blake shouts causing both Daniel and I to run over to him

“Where?” I ask and he points in the direction of the pack house and I nod and start walking with my Beta and Gamma following.

After walking for what seemed like forever Daniel growls softly to me making me stop and look at him. He points to the base of a tree where there is a brown wolf and a pile of moss and leaves “She’s under the pile of junk” he says softly and I slowly walk towards the brown wolf Daniel and Blake close behind to help. But when I get close the brown wolf lifts his head and growls at us causing a smaller boy to poke his head out the pile and look at us

“Shawn calm down it’s the ones from yesterday, remember? Scar tried to eat the one to the back right from grabbing me” The boy says to the Brown wolf who calms down and stands up looking at me and I hear Blake chuckle

“He’s asking for clothing. Here Raven” he says handing me an extra pair of shorts and I give them to the wolf who goes behind a tree and shifts putting the pants on and coming back out to stand in front of the smaller boy

“If you try to hurt her I will kill you.” He says in a low dangerous voice

“Told you she was a Luna” I hear Daniel mumble from behind me making me smirk until I get curious of why they haven’t moved and why she’s covered.

“Why haven’t you guys moved away?” I ask looking at him and the smaller boy as they both stiffen

“She was protecting me from some wolves when she got hurt and so we ran but couldn’t get further than this and she won’t heal” The smaller one says sniffling holding back the tears and I’m surprised they aren’t bawling over their Luna’s condition.

“May I look at her?” Blaze asks and the bigger boy, Shawn I think, looks to the little boy who nods and they move out of the way and Blaze walks up to the pile of moss and leaves “Nice camouflage”

“Thanks, she said to do it like this before she passed out” Shawn says as Blaze pulls it off of her showing a very, very dirty wolf. She looks like a brown wolf instead of a white one and she is skinny as well. Blaze looks pale as he looks over the she wolf and he then picks her up

“This wolf needs medical help. Alpha we are going home.” He says and with that he carries her off towards home and I look at the two boys

“What’s wrong?” I ask as they stiffen and watch him take their Luna

“She just is terrified of packs and other wolves. So when she wakes up you might have a pissed off wolf” Shawn says before following Blaze pulling the smaller boy after him. But what the little boy says is what scares me to the bone

“When she wakes up, her wolf will have control and might not give it back this time”
