Split in Half
Sometimes I think I'm two people
One who is right and respectful
Another who is passionate and brave
I can never choose between the two
For they are both so beautiful
Just in different ways
One day I was faced with a hard choice
And my soul was split in half
How do I choose between two things
That have never shown their bad?
That fateful day changed me
I can't tell if it was for good or bad
Cause now I find that I'm riddled with new questions
New questions I can't always answer myself
And some that nobody can
I must find a balance between the two
Yet how may I achieve this?
For I'm only a girl who wishes not to be torn
By her two perfect halves
