Medyo nagtagal pa ang pakikipag-usap ni Von sa namumuno sa mga mamamayan sa Nayon.

At sa bandang huli ay nakapagdesisyon na rin ang dalawang panig.

Malapad ang ngiting nakarehistro sa mukha ni Von ng papalapit kay Amber sa may lilim ng puno na mukhang medyo nainip na rin sa pag-aantay ang dalaga.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Sweetheart" Ani ni Von na makalapit dito.

Tumayo namn si Amber at humarap kay Von "It seems you have a good news" ngiting bungad ni Amber sa binata.

Von smirk widely " I got it" 

Amber raise her eyebrows, waiting for him to continue.

"I got the deal close. They're agreeing for the relocation Project, Sweetheart!" Excited na sabi ni Von. His eyes full of glintz. It's a mission success.

Amber can't help to jump of happiness. " Congratulations! You did a good job Von!" she exclaim.

Suddenly Von hugged her tightly "Thank you for your presence, It means a lot" 

Amber hugged him back. "You have made this all possible. There's nothing to thank me" She teases. 

Tiningnan ni Von ang dalaga na may pilyong ngiti sa labi "I'll be waiting for my congratulatory present later" 

Hinampas namn ito ng dalaga at bumitaw sa yakap nito. "DOn't expect too much Mr. Carson" she laughingly said. 

"Then just grant my wish" Von, sa seryoso nitong tinig. 

Natigilan namna dito si Amber while looking directly at him.

Ngumiti ito "Let's have a dinner Tonight"

"How was your Business in Paris, Vanessa?" Anang baritonong boses ng Chairman sa babaeng kaharap.

"It was good, new clients keeps on coming so it's good for the Business" nakangiting tugon ng dalaga sabay inikot ng tingin ang Opisina ng Ama. "You're Office always looks so empty" walang ganang sambit nito.

"It only need a man inside" Napakamahulugang sambit ng Chairman.

Napangisi naman ang kaharap "You need to lighten up, Dad" She sighed and stand up "Where's your favorite son? He's not in the Office?"

Agad ang pag-bago ng expression ng Chairman "He's on his assignment"

Pinagmasdan ni Vanessa ang Ama "I hope you're not pressuring him"

"He's not taking this Businesses seriously, Vanessa." Chairman exclaimed loudly. "He's.. He's ... useless" Out of words the sabi ng ama nito.

Vanessa look not so pleased with her father attitude. She just decided to leave the room than making an argument with him. "I'll see you at the event, Dad" Paalam nito sa ama.

Inilabas nito ang telepono pagkalabas ng Building. " Hello Gerard. Mind to show up? I've been here for days and haven't seen your ugly face" she humorously said, stoping herself to spill out of laughter.

Pero hindi nito mapigilang matawa ng tumugon si Von sa kabilang Linya "Ok then. Bye. I'll difinetly see you in the event"

AMBER POV

Amber knows that Mark will be coming tomorrow at the Island, he called just to let her know.
