[MATT'S POV]
It's been so long since Dom has moved on, but I'm still stuck wanting him back.
I have just invited him out for coffee since we haven't seen each since touring.
I wonder how he's doing.

I sit in the back of the coffee shop and watch as customers file in and out.
Suddenly I see the blind man walk in and make his way towards me.
"Hello, Dominic"
I say taking a sip of my coffee as he takes a seat at my table.
"Hello, Matthew"
I hand him his coffee that purchased for him.
He stares at it.
"What's wrong?"
I ask, frowning.
"Been trying to cut down on caffeine, but thanks anyways"
I sure don't miss his picky lifestyle.
He pushes over the coffee and takes out his phone with a serious look.
"What?"
I say taking another heavy sip of my coffee.
"Just my girlfriend wondering where I am"
Oh, right.
I frown.
"We haven't seen each other in so long"
I finally say, sighing loudly.
"Yeah, how have you been?"
I have the urge to cry.
Don't cry.
"Working on new songs for a possible next album"
I look out the window, not in his gaze.
"Been busy traveling, and laying low until back in the studio"
I nod.
"How is Bing?"
I look back at him.
"I've been spending time with him, he's been my rock keeping me alive"
He smiled.
"That's very good"
He looks at his phone again.
I frown.
This is very awkward.
"Oh.."
He sighs.
"What?"
"I promised I would go out to lunch with my girlfriend"
He stood up.
"It was nice catching up with you"
He smiled, look at me as I stood up.
"Yeah"
I look away.
"Can I have a hug?"
He asked and my face lit up.
"Sure"
He leans over and puts his arms around me.
"Thank you"
I smiled.
"I should get going"
He said, preparing to walk away.
"Goodbye, Mr. Howard"
"Goodbye, friend"
With that he walked out of the door.
I tried holding in my sadness, but that would be the last time I would see him for a very long time.
