Half Demon Is Not Half Bad

I look at Peirce with confusion because he just saved me. But that did not confused me it's he is a arch angel and I am half demon. Aren't we suppose to be enemy's or something like that.

" I know you are wondering why I saved you." he walks closer to me then wraps his arms around my waist. " It is good to see you again I missed you little sweet ass."

" I don't know you so get off me." I try to get out of his arms but it does not work.

" I forgot we have not meet." He said backing up as noise comes down the hall.

" Zay are you alright?" Rhys asked pushing Peirce out of the way and wraps his arms around me.

" She is fine I saved her." Peirce cuts in crossing his arms over his muscular chest.

" And you would be." Linc slams Peirce up against the wall as Duke stands behind him.

" I am Peirce arch angel and I can be your knight in shining armor." Peirce spoke looking start into Linc eyes.

" Hate to brake the news cupcake but I'm straight." Linc spit back and I hate how they are being so mean to the guy who just saved me.

" Stop Linc he saved me from a guy trying to kill me." I shot the words at him and the other two.

" Ya I did and if you don't mind I need to ask your sister a question."

" Ask away." I say before any of them jump in.

" Can I join you." He came over to me grabbed my hand and held it to his chest then sticks his bottom lip out.

" You have to answer this one question." I try taking my hand back but he pulls it closer to his chest were I can feel his heart beat.

" Yes, what is it."

" Why do you want to join us?"

" It is because I know how you feel I lose my parents to." He looks like he is getting ready to cry.

" OK you can join us." I finally get my hand back as he stands and throws his fist in the air. " Hate to tell you guys but we need to leave because they know we are here."

" Then what are we waiting for let's go." Duke spoke finally but he did not sound happy.

" Well, dumbass we ain't got a car." Rhys yells at him like it's his fault.

" I got one let's go follow me." Peirce waved his hand for us to follow him out that back way.

I follow right behind him with my hand holding his coal gray leather jacket. As I get out I see a black Lincoln navigator. I hope in right behind the driver and Duke get the middle as Rhys get the another back door. As Linc gets to sit up front with Pierce.

" You better buckle up my little half demon." Peirce puts his hand on linc's thigh and then puts his hand back on the string wheel. " And off we go."
