Intro 6 - Min Yoongi

Min Yoongi was born in Daegu, South Korea on March 9, 1993, making him 23 today*. Yoongi's ability is to see what one can acheive depending on what they pursue. Yoongi met Jungkook in his first year* at Seoul National University** through his room arrangements like Namjoon. Yoongi did not have enough money to stay at his college dorm, so he continued to occupy his old high school dorm, where Jungkook and his friends moved into during the summer. Yoongi and Jungkook bonded over Jungkook's interest to learn piano, which Yoongi already knew how to play. Jungkook also learned that similar to Namjoon, Yoongi enjoyed practicing rap and even liked b-boy dancing like Hoseok. Sure enough, Yoongi appeared with Hoseok and Namjoon in the maze as well. Yoongi never failed to appear with a pen and pillow in his hands, but this was vague to Jungkook at first and it took him some time to find that Yoongi struggled with the balance of work and sleep. Jungkook learned that although Yoongi put out an image of lack of determination or care he truly worked very hard on songwriting and plans for the future so much that he often lost sleep or overslept. Jungkook installed a system of setting two alarms for Yoongi, one for the end of work and one to wake up. Needless to say this never completely destroyed the issue but it helped a great deal and Yoongi would appear without his items on some days.

Yoongi is pursuing fine arts like piano and rap at his college and still stays at the high school dorm. His older brother cheers him on with his parents in Daegu by buying copies of the songs he composes. Yoongi earned the nickname Suga among his friends because of how light his skin is due to his lack of sunlight because of his work. Yoongi still keeps his air of boredom and lack of investment in activities, but he also keeps his secret work ethic and determination. He is the one to keep the group grounded when they get cocky or dumb. He composes still and is working on a full album written by him and him alone.
