Alice POV

Alice woke up to a dim room and suffocating air. She went down stairs expecting to see a mother cat trying to clean two kittens' faces. The mother could never get the grooming part right. Alice's footsteps sounded like someone hitting hollow wood. Alice saw her mother talking to her father, as if in a rushed quiet argument. Alice went over to eavesdrop on their conversation.

"I honestly don't think that she's ready," Her father whispered.

"I honestly do!" Her Mother replied.

Alice's Mother rarely lost a fight. Something Alice would like to think she has also, but in reality she has not.

Her Father looked up only to see Alice in her butterfly blue nightgown. As Alice walked down stairs her mother frowned at her unruly golden hair spilling across her shoulders.

"Alice, we need to talk, come sit down," Alice's Mother sat down on the chair picking up the white kitten.

This was a clear sign to Alice that her Mother was about to say something that Alice was not going to like and the cat was there to soften the blow.

"Alice, dear, Your Father and I have been thinking." A very dangerous thing I might add. "That it is time you move on with your life, because, well, you're 18 years of age and I- we think that you need someone to care for you so we have arranged a marriage," Alice's Mother ended this sentence with a big smile trying (failing) to tell Alice that this was a good thing.

Alice's whole life blew up in her living room. She would have gotten up and started to yell at her Mother, but, that cat would be scared of Alice and wouldn't come near her for weeks. Thus, she just sat there with an empty smile plastered on her face.

"Why?" That's all Alice could say.

"Well sweetie, we thought-"

"You thought that you could tell me how to live my life!" Alice shouted, scaring the cat in the process.

Alice stomped up the stairs, aggravated at the turn of the events.

In her room Alice looked in her bedroom vanity. Alice snatched her brush up. The hot tears were spilling down her cheeks.

"Don't cry Alice," A voice said in the back of the room.

"Peter?"

A boy with white hair and bunny ears sprouting from the tip of his head. He wore a tailed coat, with a pocket watch hanging out of his left breast pocket. He had white gloves and silver glasses.

"Alice, we don't have much time, Wonderland is going to be taken by siege we need your help will you come?"

Peter held out his hand. Alice hesitated but then grasped his hand for dear life.

Finally DONE. That took like a decade. Give me ideas in the comments please!
