Enid's POV

The 2 pairs of ocean blue eyes pierced into my soul with disbelief. I wiped the blood off of my face. Then I ripped the sleeves off of my black plain T- shirt. I wrapped it around my arm where the guy cut me while holding me down. I looked back up once I was done and saw they were still looking at me. "Would u like something"? I said. The boy around my age rolled his eyes (just imagine that his eye wasn't shot out of yet) "we would like some respect since we actually helped u" he said stepping forward. I pulled my gun from my holster and put it up to him making him stop. "Thanks for the help. I'm not even being sarcastic, but I think u should go. That shooting is probably gonna attract walkers soon". I said lowing my gun, but still keeping a good grip on it. Then the man walked up. "How would u like to join our group"? I looked at him for a second. "It's better to stick alone". I glanced at the boy and he looked a little disappointed. "Now why would u say that"? The guy said. "When u get into a group u start to care and once u start to care u end up being heart broken because u relize that they will die leaving u alone. I don't want that happening again". I said. They both looked a Eachother with a little sympathy. I hated sympathy. "How many walkers have u killed"? Said the man. I sighed "more than I can count."I stated. "How many people have u killed"? Asked the boy. I looked at him "4.." "Why"? Said the man. "You just witnessed one because of ...... That. And the others didn't want to turn so I killed them because they asked". I simply stated. By now my gun was down and I was completely relaxed. "We have food, shelter, walls, and people. Come with us I wouldn't want u all alone out here". Said the man. I sighed. I stayed there for a minute then I said "Fine".
