Draco•

Draco Malfoy stormed into Flourish & Blotts to collect his order of Hogwarts: A History, considering he did not take care of his last one and ended up in a big pile of ashes on his desktop back at the Malfoy Manor.

Draco smirked as he looked towards the second floor and saw a bushy haired, brunette to be precise, girl gazing up at the top shelf and like nothing mattered to her more than books.

Draco immediately knew it was the Know-It-All Granger. She was all alone and Draco would gladly give her some of his extra time.

"Drakieeee!" Pansy Parkinson screeched from the second floor, who happens to be in the same isle as Granger. Draco sighed and walked towards the counter quickly, quick enough to try and get rid of Parkinson.

The small woman behind the counter was new around here, he looked at her and she nodded, pulling a parcel from underneath the counter. It was wrapped in brown parchment and a large piece of string wrapped around it.

On the front it read;
Draco Malfoy,
Flourish and Blotts,
Contains books, do not damage.
*Spell protected*

Draco sighed and shrunk the parcel small enough to fit inside his trouser pocket. He left the counter, leaving 15 gallons on the counter top. He made his way to the second floor where he greeted Hermione.

"Granger" Draco said, slightly startling Hermione as she dropped a book on the floor.

"Malfoy? What do you possibly want now?" Hermione sighed and picked the book up and placing it back on the shelf.

"Just one question needs answering, and you can help me with that, if you will" Draco said, partly politely. Hermione stared at Draco wide eyed.

Draco wasn't sure where he was going with the conversation but all he knew was that he liked talking to her. Draco was a Malfoy and the Malfoy men always go for the smartest.

Merlin, what would my father be thinking if he found out that I was speaking to the insufferable know-it-all! Draco mentally slapped himself.

"Never mind!" Draco huffed as Hermione turned around and focuses all of her attention onto the bookshelf.

Hermione•
Hermione's heart started beating unusually fast as she saw the platinum blonde boy walk away from her. She also felt a pang of hurt in her heart, why was she feeling like this?

"Calm down Hermione! It's only Malfoy!" She quietly said to herself. She grabbed the book she was originally reaching for and place herself at a empty table in the little book shop.

There he was. Three seats in front of her, two to the right. She watched him for a while as he occasionally ran his pale hand through his blonde locks.

She snapped out of her gaze when he stood and stretched. She tried so hard to focus on the page in front of her but Draco kept distracting her.

Hermione watched as he walked towards her and sat right next to her. She closed her book and took a deep breath in and turned towards him.

Immediately she felt like she was melting as she stared into his grey/blue eyes. She stood up and tried to get past him, her foot accidentally hit his, sending her for the floor.

Hermione waited for the hardness of the floor to hit her but instead she felt a strong pair of arms wrap around her waist. She looked up and saw Draco smirking.

"Careful Hermione, you wouldn't want to fall"

With that, Draco left the shop leaving Hermione dumbfounded and slightly burning up.
