#5 - Tutoring Sessions With Slytherin's

"Malfoy will you just please hurry up! I have another tutoring session that was suppose to start 10 minutes ago!!" Hermione half yelled and half whispered.

"I have one last paragraph, calm down!" Draco said in a calm voice, with no insult.

Hermione just stared at him, wide eyed and confused.

"What?"

"N-nothing, I was just waiting for a snarky comment or an insult" Hermione muttered as Draco gave her papers back. She collected them and shoved them in to her bag.

"Until tomorrow Granger" Draco said smirking as he grabbed his books and walked away.

Hermione just stayed exactly were she and Draco were sitting. She left her bag where it is and stalked around the bookshelves near her table.

"Hermione, Ready for our session?" Mumbles Blaise Zabini, He was smiling and he was about the only Slytherin who called Hermione by her first name and didn't insult her.

"Yes, Of course. I'm just looking for the book you will need, My bag is over there" Hermione pointed to the spot she and Draco were previously. Blaise put his bag down and came to help Hermione search for the book.

"I saw Draco giving you a hard time" Blaise muttered as he grabbed a book, flipped it back and forth to see the front and back, then put it back in its original space and sat on a table in the area only he and Hermione were.

"He wasn't exactly being rude or nasty. He was just being.. Malfoy! He was just being his arrogant self" Hermione laughed as she found the book they needed and sat down in her original space.

"So, Which magical creature do you have to write about?" Hermione smiled as she opened the book and began to write her name in the 'borrowed' section of the book.

"Phoenix, I hate the topic" Blaise sighed and sinked into his chair.

"They're not that bad!" Hermione chuckled as she placed her pen down and began to flip the pages until she came to the page about the Phoenix and began to read aloud, "The Phoenix is a magnificent, swan-sized, scarlet bird with a long golden tail, beak and talons. It nests on mountain peaks and is formed in Egypt, India and China. The Phoenix live to a immense age as it can regenerate, bursting into flames when its body begins to fail and rising again from the ashes as a chick"

"Wow, Erm. Incredible creature and all, but could you say it all again, only slower so i can copy it down?" Blaise asks, which causes Hermione to laugh. Blaise laughs along with her only to be interrupted by a cough. They both turn around to be confronted by Malfoy.

"Well, well, well. Hanging round with Gryffindors now?" Malfoy laughed.

"Malfoy, it's a tutoring session. Get over yourself and there is nothing wrong with Hermione. Now, I'll see you later in the common room." Blaise said as Malfoy's expression changed and he stomped off.

"Well that was awkward" Hermione smiled as she moved the book for Blaise can read it for himself.

"Well i didn't know that!" Blaise begins as Hermione looks up, "The Phoenix is a gentle creature that has never been known to kill and eats only herbs. It can disappear and reappear at will. Phoenix song is magical; it is reputed to increase the courage of the pure of heart and to strike fear"

"It's a very magical and interesting creature" Hermione says as she closes her booklet and looks up while making herself comfy.

"Have you finished?" Blaise asked, shocked as he looked at his paper and see's that he's only wrote three words.

"I finished it in class, I had nothing else to do." Hermione chuckles as she stands up "I'm going to look for another book to read, I won't be long. If you need me I'll be over there!" Hermione pointed to a couple of bookshelves as she made her way over to them.

"Granger" Hermione spun around as she heard a familiar voice. The voice did of course belong to Draco Malfoy.

"What do you want?" Hermione said turning back around to look at the books.

"I just wanted to ask something, I hoped you'd know the answer"

"Well, What is it? As you can see, I'm rather busy" Hermione said as she turned around to face him with her eyes glued to the book in her hand.

"Well, as you are the Brightest Witch of Our Age, i hoped you could help me with something."

"Well, come on then. I haven't got all day, I have to get back to Blaise soon" Hermione chuckles and looks up as Draco pulled a funny face at the mention of Blaise.

"Well, I have feelings for this one girl, which isn't in the same house as i am. Well, She's clever.. Very clever and very beautiful-"

"Draco, Are you seriously asking me about how to get a girl to like you?" Hermione stopped as she put the book down and put all of her attention onto Draco. She could help but feel a pang of jealously a she was talking about a girl who was 100% defiantly not her.

"Yes.. Wait- Did you just call me Draco?"

"It is your name, isn't it?" Hermione smiled as Draco smiled.

"Erm, Well.. She's a Gryffindor" Draco muttered. Hermione heard as clear as day. A Gryffindor.

"Do i know her?" Hermione couldn't help but think it was Ginny or Parvati. It hurt her.

"Yes, well if you suggest you knowing yourself then, yes you do." Draco smiled as he moved to sit next to her.

"Is it Ginny?" Hermione asked not understanding what he previously said.

"What- No"

"Is it Parvati?"

"No, Would you just listen to m-"

"Is is Lavender?" Hermione couldn't help but laugh at mentioning her name and imagining Draco being loved up with Lavender, She could already see the ridiculous nicknames she would have planned for him.

Draco didn't say anything he just placed his lips on hers. Hermione, who was not taken back by it kissed him back. It was like the whole world stopped to see them both together as they kissed. Hermione was delighted that it wasn't Lavender or any of her other friends, And she was most excited as it was not her best friend Ginny.

"It's you" Draco said as he released the kiss.

"Me?" Hermione was excited, She threw her arms around the Slytherin Prince.

Hermione's mind did wonder to Harry and Ronald. What would they think? A Gryffindor and a Slytherin together, romantically? She knew it was wrong but she couldn't control her feelings.
