It's my birthday today, 20th October 2012. Nobody here to celebrate with me, I sat down on a wall, it started to rain heavily so I ran into shelter, I had no where to stay. Every person walked past me staring as I took a sip of my whiskey and a puff off my cigarette, all of my clothes are stained with mud, sweat and vomit. My trainers have holes which are so big my toes are peaking out. I only have ten dollars to last me this whole week, and it's only Monday!

When I was about to pick up my bags a man stared at me, looked quite wealthy, leather boots, gold watch, a black and white suit, briefcase and tidy hair. He walked up to me and said

"where are your Parents?" he looked at me up and down.

"they're dead. Both of them are dead" I whispered trying to get the tone of my voice back.

"Don't you have a home to go to?" he said back quite harshly.

"No, I have no home, no money. Not even a person can come up and ask if I'm fucking alright. Do I even exist?" I shouted back in anger.

"Why don't you come with me? I can't have you out here in the ice cold."

When I heard the offer my eyes filled up with tears of joy, I hesitated to stand up because he was a stranger but he wouldn't be a bad person if he offered me comfort. I entered the strangers car, it was a red Ferrari, with perfect rubber wheels and the most softest leather seats I have ever sat on.

We finally arrived at the strangers house. Before he opened the door he introduced himself

"By the way my names Marty."

"Brad" I answered back quite calmly.

He gave me a smile, a smile I never seen before in my life. The only smile I've ever seen was the picture of me and my dad which I kept in my bag.

"This is your new home." Marty replied.

As soon as the front door opened a beam of light hit my eyes, I flinched and looked back.

"What's wrong?" Marty said with confusement.

I replied with "Something bright shined in my eyes"

"Oh, ahaha don't be soft. It's the light reflecting of the chandelier."

I had a good stare into Martys home, and by god it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. The floor engraved with marble, the walls were white with diamond crusted into them, the stairs had gold railings and a red carpet going upwards.

"Woah, this is enormous." I said to Marty.

"This isn't even the start yet Brad." Marty said while pouring a glass of scotch.
