Eren

Instead of performing at the park as planned. Erwin Smith,the guy I met at that party allowed everyone to perform at his families club. The crowd was much larger than the one at the Café. For the first time I felt nervous not because of the many thousand people here but because our leader won't stop sending heated dagger at my head.

"Don't screw this up Jeager",is her message.

And if you do you are good as dead!,I add.

I can picture Annie pulling out a chainsaw and chasing me around the club aiming to decapitate my head. I gulp feeling my neck,I could feel the cold saw against my throat.

"ARE YOU READY PEOPLE!"Hange's voice calls out to the crowd.

In response the crowd lets a roar for entertainment. "Before we begin lets all give a shout out for  Erwin Smith for letting us perform here today,thanks Erwin!"Everyone clasps and howls for our host who stood by the curtains.

Behind him was Levi who was talking to his crew. They all looked hyped for the competition. Armin waves to me and gives a thumps up for luck. I smile doing the same for him. Levi must've noticed Armin not paying attention to what he was saying because he looks straight at me. I could feel me cheeks warming up when he gives a small but noticeable smile.

"Hey Eren you feeling alright?"Berthadt asks feeling my head.

"Um yeah ,yeah I'm okay w-why do you ask?"I ask.

"You're a bit red in the face."Reiner says a bit concerned.

"I'm fine guys really."I assured.

The both nod but kept their eyes on me just in case.

Hange then holds out a bowl with cards. By pulling out a random card it will tell which team is to go first. As she felt around,Annie pulls me to the side.

"Remember Eren,don't go off and do things your own way. Follow the routine we've been practicing or so help me if you even think of adding one new step,you're out!" I couldn't tell if that was the pressure talking or that she was dead serious. I don't know how to feel that threat.

"Wings of Freedom!"Hange announces raising the card in the air.

I watch in awe as I watched a them. They danced like bird's that were imprisoned in a steal  birdcage. Everyday they watch other birds fly freely in the open sky without a care in the world. Oh how they longed to be just like those other birds. One bird then starts to claw at the bars with his talons. Despite the pain he continues for days without anything to eat or drink. Soon his body starts to weaken.

The bird was just mere scratches away from freedom until fatigue claims him. His fellow cell mates watch him fall. The birds gather around him and give him bits of their own strenght to finish what he started. The bars finally crumble.

The bird and his friends finally free from the confinement of the cursed cage, flow into the air never to return again.

The crowd roars wildly at their performance. I could help but clap deserving a warning glare from Annie. Right ,don't cheer on your enemies. That didn't stop me from silently praising them for such a performance. I know I wouldn't forget even if I tried.

"Next up,The Titans!"

The lights dim as the spot lights shine on each crew member to the beat. The Female titan had called upon all her fellow titans to destroy the enemies that ever wronged her. I could feel the pure rage coming off her as she danced. The other titans had no choice but to obey for they were bewitched and could not break away from her spell. The femal titan commanded the Colossal Titan to break down the walls of her enemies. The Muscle Titan then runs through the opened hole and takes down the enemies lines of defense. The last Titan protected its master from anything that may harm her.

The Female titan then approaches her real enemy and without hesitation destroys him right on the spot. She dances in tryumpt her enemy was finally dead and rules over her enemies people and creates a new world of raging beasts.

I shook my head disappointed.I could see strings that were holding Eren down. Controlling those strings were none other than Annie. The puppeteer would not allow her little puppets to move with her say so.

Even through the crowd was pleased with their performance, they did not understand what was really happening. Once it was over the crowd roared in excitement. The titans bowed proud that they did well,all but Eren who walks off the stage towards the back.

"Alright everyone we'll take a break and once we return the real competition begins!"Hange announces.

I took this opportunity to go after Eren. When I was about to open the back door I could hear Annie congratulating her teammates.

"We are sure to win!"Annie exclaims." Eren great job!"

"Hmm? Oh yeah,thanks."Eren says without any emotion in his voice.

"Are you sure you're okay?"Berthadt asks.

"Yeah I'm fine don't worry about me. Just give me a minute,I won't be long."He says waving them off.

I hide behind a few equipments as the others came back inside. Once the coast was clear I step outside to find Eren angrily kicking the wall.

"Are you always kicking things when your mad?"I ask jokingly.

Eren spun around surprised."Levi if Annie finds you out here with me."He whispers.

"Don't worry she's in there probably signing autographs."I lean against the wall. "So tell me Eren what was that all about?"

Eren sighs leaning against the wall with me. He looks up at the clouded sky with a deep frown. "I had no idea that it would be like that. Now that I think about it,I am just a controlled mindless beast. "He then sinks to the ground with his head in his hands."I choose to dance not just because of my mom but because I felt free as I did it. No one to control me or my life but here I am being someone's emotionless,remote controlled robot."

I wrap an arm around his shoulders letting him lean against me. "So what are you going to do?"

"Do?"

"Don't tell me you're still planning on dancing with them still?"I scoff. After the way Annie has been treating him? If I were him I would've been long gone before the competition.

". . .It can't hurt to dance with them this last time."He shrugs. Well the competition isn't over yet there is the final round which is the Dance Battle. After that Hange will announce the true winners. Then maybe if he wants to, I thought deeply glancing over to the boy leaning against me. Eren is a very talented dancer and such a talent should never be used for anothers own personal gain.

No that can't be just that.

Eren catches me looking at him but I do not turn away. His eyes are very mesmerizing,so beautiful and full of life. To see to eyes holding any negative emotion makes my blood boil. His soft tan skin against my own providing me an never ending warmth,melting away the ice that hardly ever leaves. My eyes land on his lips,those full soft looking lips.

Yes, it's much more than that.

Slowly I lift my hand to caress his smooth cheeks before leaning in towards him. Erens eyes widen in shock but does not pull away instead he leans forward. Yes there is no doubt in my mind that I like this boy,not because of his talent but for his heart.
