The attic floors creek as I take a step forward. I wonder why papa would never let me go in here. The silence is almorst scary in this pitch black darkness. I dont see a thing but I lukily find my way to the light switch. "Ahh" thats better. The attic looked shiny clean as if someone cleaned it. But nobody comes in here...

The butterflies nowhere to be found and even my ramens getting cold.

There were enormous stacks of books on these brown wooden shelves. I walked to one of the shelves and picked up a book. "MONSTER SLAYING" it said in huge font. I opened the book to find it was empty. What kind of book is this I wonder to myself. I pick up another book, it reads "Wielding Your Power", it follows by saying "once your powers are released theres no going back" oh look theres a bookmark in one of the pages, I read the writing on the book mark. It read "downstairs in the drawer at the back of my room."

What does this even mean!?!

The only drawer thats at the back of a room is papas room but what is this note trying to tell me.

I run down the stairs leaving everything behind. I russel through the things in papas drawer... slowly Kiyoshi comes behind me. "What are you doing" Kiyoshi says. You shouldn't be in here. Take this kyoko says in a hurry and puts the note in his hands."downstairs in the drawr at the back of my room." He reads. Where'd you find this he says, he looks at her is a hassle and starts helping as well. "Uhh the attic..." Kiyoshi looks at her in disbeleif "why were you in the attic and why do you have this?" "I just do, right now isnt the time Kiyoshi" Kyoko says looking breathless.

Kiyoshi's POV

Papa isnt home but if he was this might've been a lot easier. Maybe we could've known more. "But we dont have time for that!" I stare at my sisters determined face... it almost scares me. Theres nothing but old rusty pencils, paperclips and small elastics. This is usless, we dont even know what where finding, Kyoko I bet this note means nothing. "Kiyoshi this note has to mean something and I know it!" Her face lit up as she picked up a small green box which held a small key. I stared at it carfully but before I could say another word Kyoko was off to the attic.

I went chasing after her and telling her to slow down... shes not an easy one to handle, thats for sure.

Kyoko's POV

I pick up one of the books I picked up earlier and anylyse it carefully. The book glistens inside and out, each page I open is illuminated with a picture to a story never seen before. It feels like this book has so much meaning in my life. Like I've seen it before but where? Kiyoshi stares at me in silence. I open the book to find a key slot.

I push the key gently in its place

And the room goes silent.
