Chapter One

"Please, don't go...I-I don't want to be alone" I said stuttering slightly my eyes were practically begging him to stay. "Vic's girl will be with you" He said cupping my face gently almost as if I was a fragile pice of glass "I have to go Alex, I can't let that asshole get away with what he did to you" He said stubbornly. "Fine just-... Just don't do anything stupid, please" I sighed knowing he wasn't going to let it go "You know I love you right?" His said after a moment of silence; his voice was soft, his eyes were looking into mine as he hold me in his arms whipping away a stray tear with his thumb. A sad smile formed onto my lips, I could only nod feeling the overwhelming pain on my lower part of my body. "I love you too Mike" I could hear my voice shake. He smiled back before kissing my lips, it was a bliss of both passion and sadness.

We pulled away just as we heard the familiar car engine outside "I've gotta go" He mumbled his forehead against mine as I nodded gently "I know; just promise you'll come back, promise me you'll always come back" I said just as the door opened and Vic's girlfriend walked in "I promise." He said as we kissed one more time then he left getting into the car before driving off with Tony, Vic, and Jaime into the dark rode.

"D-... did they kill the guy?" My cousin Sofia asked "Almost, the guys stopped him before he could" I said looking up at the girl with her eyes were wide with curiosity and longing for me to tell her everything. "But that doesn't really matter anymore, dose it?" I said whipping a stray tear from my eyes that I hadn't noticed until now. "My dad made it impossible for us to keep seeing each other and he succeeded" I scoffed a sarcastic chuckle left my lips  I shook my head remembering everything me and him have been through. "How old were you when you last saw him?"

"18. my dad threaten to send Mike to jail and I tried to convince him to go and forget about me but he never did which is why he was locked up for 'assault' Which is bulshit" I sighed leaning my head against the wall as I sat on the floor, I closed my eyes not wanting anymore tears to fall I hate crying. "Is he still in jail?"

"No he got out after four months"

"Do you still love him?" My eyes snapped open "You know what? I think you're asking too much goddamm questions so why don't you just go! God I don't even know why I am telling you this!" I snapped "But Alex I'm your family" she protested "No you're not, last time I remember you clearly said you didn't care what the hell that creep did, you even told me I asked for it! So I think it was be best for you leave before I make you" I said glaring at her.

"Fine, be a bitch" she huffed standing up and heading to the door "I hope you never see Mike, I bet he found someone by know" She said venom dripping from every word "Someone who's worth it" she added looking me up and down and scoffed rolling her eyes before walking out and slamming the door.
