The Stars I Stole For You

Chapter Three

The rain-- that's all I could hear. I probably haven't gotten a descent night of sleep for the second day in a row, and I knew exactly why. The same dreams that would terrorize my sleep were back.

Looking over at the clock it read 5:59 and just as it showed 6:00 I was startled by the sound of my phone going off as I received a message from a unknown number and I didn't knew either to laugh or be extremely creeped out when I saw it had someone's address saying to be there by 6:30.

And before I could even type back asking who it was a incoming call popped up.

"Hello? Who's this?" I asked answering the call as I sat up giving up on going back to sleep.

"It's Alysha."

And just like that I remembered about the blonde chick offering me a job. "Oh shit, hi sorry I totally forgot a-..."

"Look I don't have time for explanations do you want the job or not?" She asked cutting me off

"Y-yes of course I do." I responded stumbling a bit on my words-- the question catching me by suprise.

"Good, then I'll see you here at 6:30." She said before the line went dead.

I had less than 30 minutes to get ready and get to the house so I quickly got out of bed put on the first thing I could find laying around which so happened to be a pair of black skinny jeans and a white Ramones shirt and after brushing my teeth I left out of the house grabbing my phone and got into my car not really bothering to do my makeup or hair deciding to just let it down.

Arriving at the house I was given directions to I smiled trimphly when I saw I had a couple minutes to spare. Knocking at the door I waited for someone to open it suddenly becoming overwhelmed with nervousness.

Before I could even think of leaving the door swung open revealing the same blonde haired girl that had called me earlier. "You're on time." she smiled stepping aside so I could step inside which I did nodding to the comment she made.

"Well I am going off to work bu-..."

This time it was her being cut off "Alysha, I thought you would've been on your way to work by now."

I immediately froze not daring to turn around as the sound of his footsteps came closer.

"Well yes but I wanted to introduce you to our new nanny." Alysha said taking a hold of my arm and I had no choice but turn around and for the first time in years my eyes meet those coffee colors once that I didn't know I missed so much until now.

"Mike this is Alex, Eleanor's new nanny."

A/N: And I'm back! I haven't really updated this story due to the worst thing ever ( writer's block) but in back and will try to update as often as I can.
