His heart was fractured.

She played him like a deck of cards.

She didn't even care.

She didn't let him explain.

His life had been crumbling down since that twist in events. Ezra wasn't really bad. At least he believed that he wasn't bad. God-if she would've just listened. Ezra's picked up his phone. He had no idea what he was doing but he had to do it. He called Aria and it went to voicemail after the second ring.

"Aria, I know why you aren't talking to me and I completely understand. You just need to listen to me. I can promise if you hear me out, you'll change perspective. Meet me in the bar where we met at 8:35. I Lov-" Ezra was cut off by the time limit on the message. He sent it through and walked over to curl up in his bed for a few hours. He eventually fell asleep.

"Come on babe. Don't be mad." Ezra kissed Aria's neck.

"You tickled me to hard Ezra. I almost peed myself you ass." She chuckled.

"That's what you get when I'm grading papers and you're trying to seduce me!" He defended himself. Aria lifted her eyebrows. She inched closer to his face and pulled him into her lips. It started out innocent but turned heated. Ezra had to pull away before he could be distracted anymore distracted from work.

"I see I was successful." She teased. He turned a deep shade of red.

"Yeah, Yeah, Yeah." He hoisted her up on his shoulder and threw her on the bed.

Ezra bolted up in his bed in a cold sweat of the vivid memory he supposedly "dreamed". He looked at the clock. It was 8:27. He jumped out of bed and put on a button up blue flannel shirt and tied his ratty converse. Ignoring the fact that his black cargo shorts had no belt. He swiftly grabbed a belt and locked his front door behind him.

Aria got Ezra's voicemail but she was a bit pre-occupied. She was breaking up with Jake, She really wanted to hear what Ezra had to say so she was going to meet him at Snookers.

She pulled up to the smelly bar and walked in, Only to find the blue eyes, curly headed man was yet to show up.

Was this a fucking joke to him? Before she could turn to run home and cry he stood before her. His tight blue flannel shirt hugging his ginormous biceps perfectly. He was just as perfect as he always had been.

"Sit with me?" He spoke softly. Aria nodded. She followed him to a corner of the room into a booth.

"Just tell me what happened and i can get back to my life." She said in a 'get fucking going' tone. Ezra sighed.

"Everything that i did, i did for you and your friends. I needed you safe and the only way to beat them is to join them," he licked his lips. "I tried so hard to prevent you from being out in the box on the train. I-I made sure that nobody got it bad." He was on the verge of tears. "I was so out of place Aria. You don't even understand. I had to clawed my way in so i could help you and your friends." Aria laughed.

"You obviously don't care, Ezra. I never asked you to help because we didn't need it. Do you understand that by joinin the -A Team you walked away and you showed me that you didn't even want me!" She yelled.

"What the hell? Don't ever say that! What would you know? You only ever listen to your friends! I'll always want you. I'll always love you, I don't even know what im doing here since you already have a pre-conceived idea on what's true." He looked her in the eye. "If i didn't care, Why would i risk my everything for you? I put my entire life on the line for you. I'm not walking away from this." He breathed. "What did you think? I suffered from a predisposition, like schizophrenia?"

Aria huffed. "No. I thought you'd love me enough to hunt them down and find out. Not become one."

"You've become so known to what you're saying. I love you so fucking much. God, just comprehend the love you claim you felt for me then times that by two million. I'm incapable of loving anyone or anything. Everything in my fucking apartment has been tainted by you. And- And i can't even think about going on another day without touching or kissing you. My god." He said between breaths. By that time he had stood up and was about to walk out before Aria grabbed his arm and looked him in the eye.

"That's all I ever wanted to hear." She said between kisses.
