"Well class, as you can see we have a new student this is-" Mr. Kamchi, my language arts teacher points to a girl standing shyly in front of the classroom. She's wearing darker clothing and is only wearing eyeliner.
"Riley." She quietly says, looking downwards as if she's trying to hide her face.
"Well Riley, have a seat. There is an open one next to Kaden," he points to the seat right beside me. She slowly walks her way down the isle and silently takes a seat. I can't help but notice she's wearing- a tail??
I slightly nod my head and try to keep looking toward the front of the class. Without realizing it, I find myself staring at her. She's just so pretty-
"W-why are you staring at me....?" She says without looking at me. She can't possibly see me through her fringe... can she?
"I- um... sorry." I'm not a man of many words. She doesn't say anything else during the entire class, still so shy around everyone.
The bell rings and I stay behind to gather my things for the next class. I notice she stayed behind as well.
"Kaden, could you show Riley around? I think she might need some help finding her next Class. Afterall, you do have the same class with her next period..." Mr. Kamchi gives a sly smile.
"Umm... sure. I'd be glad to.."
I let Riley finish gathering her stuff and explain to her that we have a 10 minute passing period, so we can take our time.
"Great.. can I um... go to my locker for a sec..? I need to grab something.."
"Sure," I follow her to her locker and wait for her. When she opens her locker door, I notice a small drawing she pinned with a magnet. The drawing was of a circle, triangle, and a rectangular shape in the center. The therian symbol...
"Therianthropy..." I accidentally mumble. She spins around and looks at me dead in the eye.
"...what did you say..?"
I lightly tap on the symbol on her door and repeat it. "You're a therian..."
"Y-you know what that is..." she looks at me curiously.~~~Riley~~~
How does this boy know...?
I give this skater haired boy a curious look.
"Whats your kin..?" I quietly ask, looking into his beautiful hazel eyes.
"Siberian tiger..." He says to me in a low voice.
"Prairie fox.." I reply, closing my locker slowly.
"Let's talk later..." He lightly lays his hand on my shoulder, his touch gentle. "But for now, let's go to class."
I nod my head and follow him down the halls to history class. The rest of school goes by quite quickly and I meet Kaden by the doors.
"Let's go," he says and heads out the doors. I follow him around town, talking about how each other's day was. We ended up in a grassy park with trees all around, birds chirping and fluttering all around. This park is peaceful.

SpiritualShe was the one for me. She was different and I could sense that she was afraid... afraid of humanity. She always wore a beautiful fox tail and had the personality of a fox. I wonder if she had a mate.
