One late afternoon, by the stream in Fuyuki City. A little girl with black hair and big, round eyes sat alone by the grass, looking at the flowing water.
"Yeesh... Why do they always tease me that I'm scared of the water? What's wrong with not wanting to join them if I don't know how to swim?" She thought to herself as she hug her legs and burry her face onto her knees.
She watched the water in the stream for a while more before she decided to head home. On her way home, she passed by a large house behind an elegant-looking gate. She always would pass by this house whenever she is on her way home. And every time she pass by, curiousity strikes her.
"Such a big house. Who could be living inside this house?"
"What could be inside it?"
These questions lingered around in her mind as she look up at the huge house behind those gates.
She pushed the gate and surprisingly the gate was open. She slipped inside and walked towards the porch of the huge, elegant house. When she got to the door, she turned the doorknob slowly and quietly. Now the front door is opened, she sneaked into the house. As soon as she got inside, she was surprised with all the aquarium on the shelves. This house was full of aquariums with different kinds of fish-clown fish, gold fish, puffer fish, angel fish, janitor fish, name it. Almost all of the known species of fishes were in those aquariums.
"Wow..."
She slowly walked and looked at the aquariums in those shelves. The fishes were looking at the girl. They swam towards her direction in the aquarium.
"Creepy. Why are those fishes acting like that?" The girl thought to herself as she walked deep into the house.
"Who's there?" A voice was heard somewhere near the girl-a woman's voice.
Hearing that voice made the girl jump. She hurridly looked for somewhere to hide. But seeing that the hall only has aquariums, she doesn't have a place to hide.
While the girl starts to panic, foot steps are heard going to her direction, a shadow of a woman beig emitted on the wall from a lighted room just a few steps ahead.
The girl panicked around, looking for anywhere she coupd conceal herself, but nothing can be used for her to hide herself. The footsteps came closer and closer until a woman's figure was seen coming out of the room. She looked at the girl with surprise and recognized her.
"Runa-chan?" The woman with blue hair and light-blue eyes looked at the girl named Runa.
"Shizuki-sensei?" Runa looked up as she recognized the voice of her grade school teacher.
"What are you doing here?" The woman, Shizuki, asked the girl.
"I was just curious on what's inside this big house so I sneaked in. Do you leave here, sensei?"
Shizuki nodded in response. "Yes. This is my home." She replied with a smile. "And looks like the fishes likes you so much." She added with a soft giggle.
"Eh?" She looked at the fishes in the aquarium and they were all swimming and wiggling around while looking at her. "They like me?"
"Yes. They can see and feel that heart of a potential mage." Shizuki mumbles but her voice was enough to be heard by the girl.
Runa's eyes widen at the term. "Mage? Potential?"
The woman knelt down and patted the girls head gently. Then she held Runa's hand and pulled her towards one of the aquariums. She let the girl's hand touch the glass and the water started to glow, the fishes wiggled around happily. Runa was surprised as she witness this.
"Sensei, what's happening?"
"This water is made of mana. An energy of a mage. And by the looks of this... You have mana. And your mana is perfect for the style I have. Water Magic. I will teach you to control this power, rest assured."

Many years have passed since that day that Runa found out that her grade school teacher was a mage who controls water. She didn't tell her family about her teacher's secret, instead, she would tell them that Shizuki will help her get beter at swimming everyday after her classes. Her parents immediately gave her permission to attend those swimming lessons, not knowing that Runa was actually being thought about magic.
All those years, Runa was trained on mana control and how to use that to manipulate water. And Runa was able to master this in just a few years.
Now, the little girl is a young lady at the age of 18. She would still come to her sensei's house to practice just to maintain her control on her powers.

One day, Runa was studying other water attribute spells with the help of the books in her sensei's library, Shizuki was resting in her room all that while.
While looking for another book, she found the spellbook that her sensei once showed her. Beside it is a box. Opening it, reveals a piece of black cloth. It looked like it was once part of something from more than thousands of years ago.
Runa opened the book and saw a few writings of a spell, between the pages is a piece of old paper with the illustration of a summoning circle.
"These are the standard requirements to summon a servant..." Runa muttered as she traced her fingers on the letterings on the page.
Runa took the book and the box of the catalyst outside to the backyard. With a stick, she drew the magic circle on the soil. After that, she placed the box of the catalyst a centemeter away above the circle.
She stood in front of ther circle she made and calmed herself down for a few seconds. Then she started the incantation of the spell for summoning a servant.
"For the elements, silver and iron..." Runa started and the circle started to glow brightly.
"For the foundation, stone and the Archduce of Contracts
For the ancestor, my great master, Schweinorg
Close the gates to the cardinal directions
Come forth from the Crown, and follow the forked road leading to the Kingdom
Fill, fill, fill, fill, fill
Repeat five times
But when each is filled, destroy it
Set
Heed my words
My will creates your body, and your sword creates my destiny
If you heed the Grail's call and obey my will and reason, then answer me
I hereby swear
That I shall be all the good in the world
You seven heavens, clad in the three great words of power,
Come forth from the circle of binding
Guardian of the Scales!"
After the incantation, there was a blinding light. Runa covered her eyes, instinctly. A few moments later, a man's voice was heard.
"Are you... My master?"
Runa opened her eyes and saw a handsome and beautiful man with quirky long hair combed backward in a rough fashion, wearing a dark teal outfit with two spears on each hand. She looked at him and nodded, still surprised that the spell worked.
The male servant knelt down in front of her like a knight and made his vow. "I, Diarmuid Ua Duibhne, your servant, shall remain loyal to you until the Holy Grail is in your hands."
"Thank you..." Runa muttered then the door to the backyard opened, revealing her sensei. "Sensei?"
"Runa-chan... You've..." Shizuki blinked as she look at the scene in front of her. Then she ran up to Runa and pulled her into an embrace. "OH MY GOD! YOU DID IT!!"
"Wha! S-Staph! You're crushing me, Shizuki-sensei!"
And in front of them is a confused servant. He then chuckled at how the two ladies acted.
