His Baby Girl

(11) Ward

She groans softly as her hands twitch in Kai's firm hold. "Lillyann?" he groggily asked as he woke up due to the movements made by Lillyann. "Lillyann, you're awake?" he widens his eyes, sitting up from laying his head on the side of the bed and caress her hair.

She moves her head slowly before open her eyes, soon covering it with her hand as it was too bright for her eyes. "Lillyann, you're awake!" Kai shouts in pure happiness and joy as he hugs Lillyann tightly.

"God, my head" she mutters softly as she rests her head on his shoulders. "I'm worried sick about you! Oh, you didn't know how glad I am right now!" he hugs her again as she gazed at him softly. He pushes her hair back with a loving smile on his face.

She unknowingly leans herself to the touch, making Kai chuckle. I miss this touch; she thought as Kai smile when he saw the little smile on her lips. She never looked so calm like this; Kai thought and lower his palm to her cheek.

She slowly opens her eyes, meeting with Kai's loving gaze as she started to teared up. The door was softly open as they saw the doctor peek her head and look at us. "Ah, I see that you're awake," she said gladly while coming inside.

Lillyann smiles at the doctor, although it looks forced. "The wound isn't too deep, so it wouldn't leave scars. You can fully remove the bandage after a week or so" with that, she left. "How long did I pass out?" she mumbles as Kai hands her a bottle.

"A few days. Today is my day, the others are busy" she hands him the half-empty bottle. "My baby is awake!" she flinched when the door was slammed open by none other than Tao. The others also eagerly step inside the ward, wanting to meet their baby girl.

Lillyann giggled cutely as all of them hugged her. "Did you know why you're here in the first place?" Suho asks after all of them manage to sit on her hospital bed. "I don't" Lillyann shakes her head, also pouting her lower lips.

Kris that's sitting beside her just chuckles and pats her head. "Someone throws a knife at you" Lillyann bushes her eyebrows and looks at almost all of them. She widens her eyes when whoever she looks at just nods at her.

"Kai was the one who catches you. Then we all rush you to the hospital" Lay continues as Kai stare into the nothingness. "I was so worried. I never have felt like that, not even when my phone was missing" 

Kai looks up to a smiling Lillyann, automatically he mirrors her facial. "You lost a lot of blood, I'm the first volunteer to donate my blood for you. They refuse, saying I do not meet the criteria" Lillyann smiles at him.

"Aww, how nice of you" she immediately hugs him, feeling touched. "I want a hug too" Luhan mumbles, making Lillyann laugh as she moves towards him to give him a hug. Soon enough, all of them received hugs from Lillyann.

Suho suddenly stands up and turned on the television. "Suho why?" Chen asks as all of their eyes watched the news. 

The offender of the recent shocking incident that is involving a newly debut idol and a presumedly sasaeng, has been caught this morning around 1 a.m. Ha Jungwoo, a detective and Lee Joongi, a lawyer has worked together to catch this offender and also file a sue against them.

"That was fast!" Xiumin said in amazement. "The detective and lawyer really did an amazing job" D.O compliment them both, feeling impressed. "Serves you right" Lillyann can hear Suho mutters under his breath, full of hatred. 

"No one can touch my baby girl" Lillyann gulp down her saliva before finding the courage to ask him a question. "Suho, what did you do?" he flinches at her hoarse voice. "I contact a person or two to settle this case"

He looks from her eyes, staring at the television again while fumbling with his lower lips. All of them went silent hearing his answer. "The doctor said you can leave today" Tao immediately chirped, try to change the topic.

"Really?!" Lillyann speaks up excitedly, feeling all giddy inside. "So cute" Lay pinch her cheeks as she giggles.

Where's Lillyann?; I thought as I look around. "Wait, where's Lillyann?" Kai asks. I stare at Xiumin when he answered Kai's question. I know she's with him last time I saw her. We suddenly heard a loud shriek from the main stage.

Kai ran to the stage, so I follow him from behind to the stage as I heard the other loud footsteps from behind. We stopped when we saw a big sharp knife was on the air, aiming at Lillyann frozen body. I can see her eyes are brimming with tears of fear.

Before the knife could stab her on the body, Kai manages to pull her from behind. I shout her name in terror as I saw blood on the floor and the knife. All of them ran to Lillyann and Kai as I pulled out my phone and dialed Liza's number. 

"Liza, Lillyann is hurt badly so start the van and tell the other two managers. Get ready to go to the nearest hospital. Bye" I hang up and go to them before they rush to the parking lot at the back using the inner route.

I go to the knife, examining the way it fell on the ground. I look around and took multiple photos of it as the fans are being fussy while the staffs are busy handling the situations. "Fück it" I growl and took some tissues before took the knife and put it in a ziplock bag.

I hold the bag and also Jongin's coat as I dialed a number. "Hello dad, can I ask you for help? I know you're close to Sir Jungwoo and Sir Joongi. Convince them to take the recent case. One of my members are the victim"

Then I called another two numbers, asking for help and convincing them to take my case. I pray to God that my dad also helps me this time by talking to them too. I wait on the stage as the staff comes near me.

"I'm sorry but we need to clean the blood" he politely asks me. "I'm sorry but please do wait for a bit" he sigh and nod, slowly walking away. A smile crept on my face as I saw two lean figure coming up to me.

"Thank you so much sir for taking my case" I bow to them while shaking their hands. "It's nothing kid, don't worry" Joongi said as they both smile. "Here's the knife, the thumbprint is still probably there"

"I'm not sure if mine is there since I use a tissue. There's also Kai's and Jongin's thumbprint. This is also Jongin's coat. I don't know why but I felt that I need to give this to you" I hand the things to Sir Jungwoo.

"You're doing good kid, thanks for the help" He pat my arms while laugh, looking impressed. I left the stage after bowing and thanking them both as the police have arrived. " No one can touch my baby girl" 

I growl under my breath as I walk to the parking lot.
