                        Leon's POV

I woke up the next morning at 6 and texted Jada.

Leo: Hey Jada. Are you up ?

Jada: yha. I'm up. I'm getting dressed now.

Leo: okay. I will pick you up at 6:50

Jada: alright. See you soon.

I took a shower and got ready for school. I had to put on something impressive because she was cute and I'm starting to like her. " sweety why are you leaving so early ? " my mom asked. " we have new people in our neighborhood that moved about a block away and I have met a girl yesterday and told her I would walk with her to school " I said. " okay. Have fun " she started to smile.

  Then I walked for a couple of minutes and someone texted me but there was a block number, so I just read the text.

I started to freak out and look around. There was no one there. I seen Jada walking out of the house and I walked up to her. " good morning baby girl " I said. " hey boy " she smiled. We started walking and I tried not to look nervous. " is everything okay ? " she asked me. " yha I'm fine. I just didn't get that much sleep I guess " I told her. " okay she said and pushes me over a little. As soon as she did that, I picked her up and swung her around. " you gonna push me again " I said. " lol yha ". I started tickling her and she gave in. " okay okay I won't " she said.

                    Jada's POV
I got up this morning and rushed taking a shower, eating, brushing my teeth but my breathe didn't stink and putting on my clothes, shoes,etc. I went back to sleep and I wanted to be on time for my first day. " Bye mom, bye Jere, bye,dad " I yelled. They said bye to me. I took my key and locked the door behind me as I left the house. I seen Leon and for some reason, I already know when something is wrong with someone. I kept starring at him and he ask him what was wrong. He picked me up and tickled me. After that there is a short cut that we took to school but it still took awhile. As we arrived, people came up to him saying hey Leo or Leon. " Dang boy. You known around here. " I said and we both laughed. " yha I guess you can say that. Let me walk you to guidance to get your schedule" he said. " okay ". When I got my schedule he looked at it and got excited. "We got all the same classes so this is great" he told me. " we walked to first period and I sat by him. " after school, you want to get something to eat and chill with me ?" He asked. " yha. We can "

? :good morning class. Today we have a new student named Jada. I am Mrs. Goodman Jada.

Everyone stared back at me. My palms started sweating. Damnnn I'm that pretty. This is what I was thinking to myself.

A boy started yelling " Thug Leo! "

Leo: "hey anthony. What u been up to boy ".

Ant : " yo you wanna go somewhere later ?"

Leo: " nahh I'm hanging with this little one here ".

They did their little handshake or whatever and talked. The teacher really seemed like she didn't care. I like chill teachers.

Ant: " hello Jada. It's very elligent to meet you" he said acting all proper.

Leo: " laughs his behind off. Yo she cool. Stop trying to be classy".

Ant: " oh well hey little mama. How you doing.

" good I said ".

Ant: " aye Leo you should show her that place" he said with a wink.

Class ended and I started to think about what he was talking about. I left it alone after awhile and  continued to lunch. When I accidentally bumped into a girl and knocked her papers out of her hand. " " I am so sorry. You okay ? " I asked.  yha I'm fine and hi. My name is lalani ( la-lan-e ) . " hi and I'm so sorry. I picked up her papers and talked to her a little bit in lunch". We instantly clicked.

Me: "so you know almost everybody in this school "

Lalani: yha. I been at Westward high for 3 years now.

Me: so you know Leo

Lalani: she stared at me for about 10 seconds and responded. " yha I know leo "

Me: "Is he apart of a gang, a cheater or something."

Lalnai: "He's a nice person, study to get good grades and be around a lot of people."

Me: That didn't answer my question but I'm going to trust her for now. But I will find out.

Later after school, Leon and I walked back home. " Is your mom home "he asked . " yha" I told him. Well can I meet her and your family. I want to take you somewhere today " he said.   " yha ". We arrived at my house and he met my family. My dad and brother loved him. My mom was glad that I made a friend and said that it is okay for me to go with him.

We walked to his house and his mom immadietly loved me. And she told me I was beautiful. I was thinking to myself like 😋😏 I Know!!!! But after that I got in his black dodge charger xl and we drove off.

Me: okay tell me were we are going now

Leon:  ( smirks and looks at me ) you will see
