Leo's POV
After I hung up the phone with Jada. I was to upset to say anything back. I called Anthony and he answered pretty fast, breathing hard.
Ant: ( trying to catch his breathe ) Yeh Leo
Leo: what the fuck man! Why you tried to break into Jada's house.
Ant: Leo, don't act like u don't remember. You remember when Jada's dad was a cop before he went in the military. That nigga tried putting us in jail.
Flashback

Leo and Anthony were walking to the trap house to tell "their leader" Charles that they were done.
Leo: man wassup Charles
Charles: making more money. That's wassup. Now I gotta special delivery for you two
( ant and Leo looked at each other )
Ant: bruh Charles don't take it the wrong way, but we can't do this no more. ( handing him the 50k that he gave to Leo and ant to keep ).
( charles started grinding his teeth together and veins popped straight out of his head)
Charles: so what are you saying Anthony ?
Ant: man we got a good life running for us. I can't be messing up trying to be in a gang. I'm sorry homie
( charles stared at Leon )
Charles: pretty boy got nothing to say, do he?
Leon: No sir. Everything that Ant said is meant for me too, this is to much on me and I'm tired of my mom worrying about where I be at 4am and Im not finna tell her being on no damn street.
Charles: well yal lucky that yal 17 and still in highschool, because you know what I do to people like you? I torchure them until I can't torchure them no more. ( laughs and looks at the graveyard next door out the window, and snatches the money ) Well thank you. Now leave before I change my mind on killing both of u.
( ant and leo started walking out of the room until they stopped )
Charles: HEY!!! ( he yelled ) IF YOU TELL ANYONE ABOUT THIS,BOTH OF YOU ARE DEAD MEAT. "
"Yes sir" they both said and left out of the front door.
As they walked 3 blocks, they heard the cops and a gun shot. They immediately started running.
"Shit!" Ant yelled
" Duck and run jit" leo said.
They ran until they slid into an ally.
"Bruh u ok" leo asked.
" yha I'm straight u ?" Anthony asked
"Yha " leo said.
Jada's dad ( Mr. Riley ): PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK WERE I CAN SEE THEM !
They both turned around slowly and looked to see a cop. He put us in handcuffs and set us in the waiting room, asking us questions and all.
Mr. Riley: what were you boys up to?
Leon: Nun. We were just heading home
Mr.Riley: oh really? ( he started walking around the room )
Leon : yha really. Mann we were just heading home from a friend's house. That's it
Anthony: your really taking it to far and why do cops arrest black people now a days? Is it because were black and yal immediately think that we are up to no good?
Mr. Riley: I'm the one asking the questions here ok?
Anthony: okay
Mr.Riley: What's your name?.
"Anthony Marvell williams the third" ant replied and he noticed that the cop didn't really look at leon.
Mr.Riley: Im going to give both of you a warning
"Ok" Anthony replied fast
( mr. Riley stared at him )
Mr Riley: I don't want to see this happen again.
"Ok" Anthony said again
Mr Riley: stop saying ok
" ok" he replied.
I was holding my laugh in so hard but was not going to say anything. He walked out of the room and called our parents. They picked us up and we went home. I had to text him about what happened.
Leon: Bruh you so stupid😂
Anthony: I just don't like him, he always got something to say. He seen me before and I know he would put me behind bars quick if he could.
Leon: Just try not to bump into him no more.
Anthony: I better not because I will track him down
*Flash back over *
Leo: so how the hell did you even know that he was Jada's dad?!
Anthony : I was sitting in my car otp with my mom and I seen him again. He was getting his coffee out of Starbucks and got in his car. So I followed him and when he went home I knew then, that he was Jada's dad.
Leo: well stay away from him. I'm not trying to be involved with no shit.
Anthony : Alright well I gtg. Bye
Anthony hung up the phone but I knew something was going to happen. I just hope he don't screw no shit up.
