Since it was the beginning of a new school year that means new classes. I'm hoping that my senior year will not be as hectic as the others. My freshman year I came out as being lesbian, but back then I didn't have any REAL friends just a bunch of fake back stabbing bitches. I'm pretty sure you know how that story went, the whole school ended up knowing about my sexuality. I was like fresh out the womb to be left in a wild jungle. Everyone started calling me a dyke wherever I went and constantly breathing down my neck that I was going straight to hell. But, you know what I don't give a flying fuck anymore. If I'm going to hell rest assure it won't be Satan making their life all miserable, I'm taking that throne. However, I will admit it was pretty tough the next few days since everyone was treating me like shit. It got so bad to the point where I was constantly getting into fights to wind up going home with a busted lip and a black eye. Although one day I finally opened my eyes to reality. I was in a fight with the schools well known slut, Kaitlyn. I was just doing my girly thing and using the restroom, but her and her click happened to walk in. They were spitting profanities in my face and I kid you not, but her breath was kind of kicking up a storm. Next thing I knew I was thrown on the floor, her minions kicking me continuously. After they were satisfied with the deed I was left there crying feeling so weak. I vowed that day that I would toughen up and never let anyone push me around. Now look at me now, the baddest bitch in school. No one messed with me anymore and I finally received the respect I deserved.

"Listen up class, my name is Mr. Finch" our math teacher spoke. Wow, well isn't that a great way to start the day. I'll be trying to cram numbers in my head when my brain is highly dysfunctional in the morning.

"Seeing as this is the first day of school I will go over what I expect of you in this classroom" his voice boomed. I completely blocked him out after that, taking interest in my new peers. Luckily I shared this class with Lui so things shouldn't be too bad. When I looked behind me I nearly jumped out of my skin. Lui was eyeballing me so close I thought his eyes would pop out.

"What the fuck is your problem" I whispered yelled at him. He just sat back chilling as if nothing happened.

"I saw a baby spider crawling in your hair, it was quite fascinating" he answered smoothly.

"A WHAT!" I shrieked.

"Excuse me Ms...Patterson" Mr. Finch squinted as he was looking for my name on the clipboard. "Do we have a problem?"

I sunk in my chair and responded with a no sir.

Lui began giggling to himself for the rest of the period, that jerk.

As soon as the bell ringed I jumped out my seat and headed off to the next class of the day, Literature. Compared to every other subject literature was my favorite, I can express myself any way I wanted to in my writing. I could let my imagination run wild and write about a robotic dragon destroying New York City and no one would complain. I would make it the best damn story you ever read. Walking into class I felt like someone was staring at me. I observed the many faces that were present until my eyes landed on her. Shit. I frantically started looking everywhere else, but at her. Worst thing is the desk next to her was the only empty seat. Taking a deep breath I calmed myself and walked to the desk as if her presence didn't affect me. Everything was going good when I sat down until she had spoken.

Ash looked towards me and smirked. "So, you and me have this class together, what luck."

"I personally don't see what's so lucky about that" I rolled my eyes.

"Are you bipolar or something. First time I meet you you're like a grumpy grandma. Second time you're stuttering and acting like you have a girl crush. Now you're back to grumpy grandma."

"Well maybe you should take that as a hint that I don't like you" I muttered.

Ash gasped and held her hand over her heart like she was offended. "Excuse me but what's not to like about all of this" she gestured to herself.

"Your face" I stated bluntly. In reality she was the most breath taking girl I've ever seen. Her short ruffled green hair shimmered when the sunlight cascaded around it. Those voluptuous pink lips and cute dimples just add more to her beauty. Let's not forget those eyes. When you look at them its like they draw you in ready for a new adventure.

"Are you sure? I don't think anyone who stares at me like that can say anything about my face" she grinned and gave me a wink.

Oh fudge. Why Scarr. You just had to get lost in your own little world. Now she's really going to think you have a thing for her. I groaned internally.

All we did in literature was write a few paragraphs about ourselves and what we hope to accomplish this year. All I want is to graduate and leave this prison, which is my one true goal. Our teacher Ms. Lavender briefly spoke a few things about herself to the classroom and I have to admit she was a pretty chill teacher. By the end of class we passed up our papers and reported to our next period. As I got up to pack up my things I heard someone cough next to me. I looked up to see Ash staring at me.

"May I help you?" I asked.

Ash started fidgeting. "I was wondering if you wanted to go out and get some lunch sometime."

I looked at her intensely, she had her lip tucked under her teeth. Was she being serious right now? And why was she being so freaking adorable? I pondered on the thought before giving her a no.

She raised her brows and asked "Why not? Its just lunch. If you don't want to get any lunch with me then can we be friends?"

I folded my arms in front. "I don't just randomly become friends with people on the spot, I learned my lesson freshman year."

"Then have lunch with me, you can learn more about me and maybe I can learn some things about you and you can decide whether I'm friend material."

"I already told you no, now we're going to be late for class" I started to head towards the door until an arm wrapped around my waist and spun me around. Our faces were mere inches away from each and my heart started going overdrive. We locked gazes and I could faintly feel her minty breath on my lips.

"Just give me a chance" her voice so low I barely caught it.

I don't know what came over me, but in that moment the world was just a blur. No one else mattered except me and her. I had the slightest urge to kiss her, but I knew I shouldn't she would think I'm crazy. But as she waited for my answer I replied with a simple yes.
