I hate Trancy.
No, I loathe him.
How I managed to drag myself into the carriage to the Trancy Manor, I do not know. But I do know that Sebastian was just as reluctant. As the coach pulled to a stop, I sighed. There was no turning back now. Why did I even need to go again? Oh, that's right, I didn't. Alois thought it would be a good idea for us to get together and have a chat. Sebastian said it would ruin the Phantomhive name if I didn't go, and once he said that, I couldn't refuse.
The carriage door swung open and my butler helped me out. Angrily grasping his hand, I blushed lightly, completely forgetting my anger. He smirked and gently closed the door. The large doors opened to reveal a golden eyed butler with raven black hair. He adjusted his glasses and bowed.
"Welcome, Earl Phantomhive, to the Trancy Estate."
"Yes, yes. Whatever. Bring me Alois now." I ordered the spider butler. He bowed once again, saying 'of course, my lord' and gestured for us to enter before going off to find his master. Oh, sorry, his Highness.
"If anything happens," My butler's hot breath tingled my ear, sending welcome shivers down my frail spine. "Call me, and I will be there."
I nodded, before being interrupted by an annoying blonde boy on the large staircase, his butler close behind.
"Ciel! How nice of you to accept your invitation!" Alois's loud voice rang through the halls like an annoying seagull.
"What do you want, Trancy?" I demanded. He smirked as he jumped the last step.
"I only wanted to see my best friend in the whole world!" He cooed. He gestured for his butler to leave to, what I presume, make food. I did the same, but before he could leave I grabbed his sleeve.
"If anything happens, do whatever means necessary."
My handsome butler nodded, leaving me alone with a wickedly unseemly sycophant. Alois took a few steps towards me and smirked once again. Damn it, only Sebastian can do it properly, don't even try...
"Now then, let's begin."
The whole hour consisted of Alois talking about random experiences from when he was a kid; when he got past paying for a drink when he told a rude joke; all of his butler and each kiss they shared. I, however, was just sitting across him, trying to focus on the chess game. When he began to talk about what he did to Claude last night, I stood up.
"I couldn't care less about what you did to him you hysterical mass of warbling inanity. I'm going to check the kitchen."
I marched out of the room before he could object. Making my way to the kitchen, I began to think about how Alois and his butler are together, and how it easy it had been. If only it was like that with Sebastian and I...
Looking up, I sighed. Great. I was lost. How big does this have to be anyway?
I tried to make my way back to the foyer, but I just ended up getting even further into the manor. Deciding it was best to stop, I sat against a door frame and sighed. What was this awful pain coming from my heart?
"A little lost, are we?" A deep voice sounded in front of me. I looked up and sighed even harder.
"What do you want, Claude?" I asked him forcefully.
"My, my. I was only helping..." He began to walk away. I huffed and grabbed a tail of his tailcoat.
"Help me find my way back. Now."
"Yes, Earl Phantomhive."
Claude led me back to the main foyer. The journey wasn't at all long, but it was highly irritating from the constant glances from Claude. I caught his glances once or twice with a stare. It stopped them for a while, but then he just carried on. I ignored them after that.
"Which way is the kitchen?" I interrogated the spider butler. He chuckled.
"This way, my Ciel." He muttered the last part so that I couldn't hear.
"What was that?" I challenged him. He didn't answer.
The closer we got to the kitchen, the more I wanted what ever was being cooked. My mouth watered at the smell of the cakes and sweets. Claude glanced at me and smirked. He turned around with a napkin in his hand and wiped my mouth so fast that I didn't even have any time to scold him. I blushed pink instead. He folded the napkin and put it into his pocket before tracing a bony finger along my cheekbone, I blushed and slapped his hand away.
"So cute... here." He stepped back and held open a wooden door. I glared at him as I walked in.
"Ah, Young Master, how may I be of assistance?" A more welcome voice asked. I looked away from Claude and over to Sebastian, who was piping chocolate icing on a triple tiered chocolate cake and stirring a sauce with the other. His eyes flicked from me to Claude, his eyes narrowing as he saw my tinted face.
"Damn Spiders..." My handsome butler breathed out quietly.
