The drop ship shook, rushing toward the atmosphere of earth.
People struggled to stay in their seats while others looked around nervously.
"Hold on!" A blonde girl shouted over others shouts.
Suddenly there was a giant crash as the drop ship hit earths surface at ground breaking speed. Everyone violently jerked forward.
The blonde girl was the first to stand and everyone else followed.
A black haired boy stood near, in search of his sister. He saw her crawling down the ladder.
"Octavia" he shouted above the nervous chatter.
"Bellamy?" She said rushing forward.
"Hey big brother" she laughed wrapping her arms around him.
"Brother?" A skinny brunette boy started.
"Yeah, that's Octavia and Bellamy Blake" a short girl answered.
"Well I say we open that door" Bellamy said ignoring the whispers about him.
"No. There could be radiation poisoning." Said the blonde girl that had stood first.
"If we stay in here we die from starvation. We need supplies, princess" Bellamy responded and before she could stop it, he pulled the lever.
The drop ship door opened slowly. Everyone stood speechless.
"Give them something else to remember you by, like being the first person on earth in a hundred years" Bellamy whispered to Octavia.
She stepped forward nervously until she reached the lip of the drop ship. She jumped the few centimeters to the ground.
Her feet hit the ground. Everyone stood silently for a few seconds before everyone scattered in various directions to discover their new home.

After a few hours everyone settled down and realized they weren't going to last long with the amount of supplies the council had provided them.
"We have to get to mount weather. That's the only way we will survive down here" the blonde, Clarke, spoke up.
"Well then you go. Let the privileged do the hard work for once." Bellamy said smirking. Seeing the look of hurt cross her face made him feel a pang of guilt, but he had to keep a strong facade if he wanted to be in control.
The ground shouted choruses of yes.
"Fine." She said with defiance.
Eventually she had a band of people ready to go with her.
Jasper, Monty, Finn, and Octavia.
"Octavia it's too dangerous. You aren't going" Bellamy said trying to pull her away.
"I'll be fine, Bell, it's not like I'll be alone" she said turning to walk back.
"O-"
"I'll be fine big brother" she said walking with the others.
"Wait" he said loud enough for the five of them to hear. They stopped in their tracks and turned to hear what he had to say.
"I'll come with" he said starting for them.
"No, someone has to watch camp" Clark said eyeing him.
"Fine." He said turning a little.
"Murphy!" he shouted.
Murphy turned his head and ran towards them.
"Yeah, Bellamy?" he said catching his breath.
"Take Murphy." Bellamy said to the group.
"Bel--" Octavia began.
"No he'll protect you." Bellamy said and the group knew he wasn't going to take no for an answer.
"Alright, c'mon Murphy" Finn said beginning to walk towards the trees, the rest of the group following.
"Murphy" Bellamy whispered grabbing his arm quickly.
"Protect her. Please." Bellamy pleaded with his eyes.
"I promise" Murphy said and jogged towards the group.
