(Chapter 3)

Allie's pov

I watched as Abby's face went from confused to shocked to fear back to confused.

" I know I was the same way"

" what do I do" she said as she got up and started pacing the floor, her head in her hands.

" I don't know but you need to confront him. You have to tell him to stay away from you. He's dangerous Abby"

" I know that Allie but I don't know how to do that he's the first boy to talk to me since fourth grade that didn't want to copy my homework"

"Your right. But you can't keep dating him-"

" where not dating" she said cutting me off

" ahh that's it. Your not dating. So all you have to do I stay away from him and when he comes up to you tell him it wasn't a date it was just you being a friend because he was new. It's perfect." I said. It's the perfect plan. It was to work I just know it's is.

" I guess your right." She said after a few minuets

"I know I am. Now let's go down stairs my mom is back and probably has pizza with her" I said getting up and pulling Abby down the stairs

"So why did your mom go anyways" Abby asked.

"She went to pick up the foreign exchange student for the school project the school board is doing." I replied.

" oh I heard about that. Me and mom where gonna do it but then her boss died and everything got complicated with money so we had to cancel it"

"Well if you want I can put you down with my name tomorrow so you can get the extra credit" I offered

"Thanks that would be great. I need away to save my ass from science"

" I know I've seen your gra-" we get to the bottom step in front of the front door when my mom walked in with someone else.

"Hi you must be the exchange student" I said. My mom looked up in surprise and smiled

"Yes! girls this is demetri. He's from Italy."

"Hi" I heard Abby say in a quiet voice

"Hello" demetri said in a very thick accent. And may I add that he is very cute. Like hot.

"I'm Allie and that Abby" I say holding out my hand. He takes it and it's very cold........just like Abby said Edwards hand felt. I jerk back and turn towards Abby pulling her up the stairs.

" call us when dinners ready!!" I say down the stairs to my mom and I pull us into my room and slam the door"

"Houston we have a problem"

Abby's pov

"He's cold." Allie said as soon as she shut the door.

" what? " I asked. What the hell is she talking about.

"He's. Cold. Just like you said Edward was."

"Ok and your point is"

" my point is that I am 99.99999999% sure that this guy is a vampire." She says.

"Your right. I am" demetri said coming out of no where.

"Ahhhh" we both scream at the same time. He runs to me and puts a finger to my lips.

"Shhh. Don't be scared. I'm not here to kill you. That task is for somebody else." Instantly somehow, I knew who he was talking about. 

"What do you want with Edward?" Allie asked. I guess we were thinking the same thing.

"That's my business not yours. it's bad enough that you know about my world. I should just kill you right here to keep you from talking."

"If you tell us what you want with the Cullen's then we won't tell. Well I won't tell, I don't think Abby's gonna talk with how close you are to her." Allie said. And she's right I can't talk, I can't move, hell I can't even breath. He's so close. His lips are so close. I just want to kiss those lips. They look skilled but soft, firm but gentle. He looked toward me as Allie gasps. I didnt notice I was leaning in till he turned his head and our lips were barley touching. I could move a fraction of an inch and it would be the kiss of a life time. Not that I would know what that is. It would be my first kiss.

He eyes slowly makes there way down to my lips and he moves the little distance left. I zone out. I can't help it it felt so good. Cold soft skilled lips. Everything thing I imagined. But better. Way better. We pulled away. I had to blink a few times to make sure I'm not dreaming but it's confirmed when allies mom called us to dinner. Demetri backs up and walks over to Allie. AND KISSES HER!

"You and your friend are great kissers, And very pretty. but your also very young and stupid and shouldn't know the dangers around you. But I guess you have the right to know."

"Who are you really"I asked finally able to speak since he walked through the door.

"Later. Your both hungry you should eat." He said walking towards the door.

"But you will tell us what we want to know won't you" Allie asked.

He turns back around,walked back to Allie,and wrapped his hand around her head. Tilting her head to the side and kissed her neck. Running his lips up to her ear making her visibly shiver.

"Anything for you princess." He says then walks toward the door without another word leaving us stunned.

"Princess?" Allie and I say at the same time.
