I thought you loved me

You and Johns relationship went great. Why'd he leave you? You thought you could trust him? Three months you'd been together, you told him stuff you'd thought you'd never say. You didn't talk to Dave in those three months and that helped with the feelings problem. You laid in your bedroom, staring at the ceiling with 'All I want' by Kodaline playing in the background. It really went well in the break up music category. You listened to the lyrics over and over again as the tears streamed down your face.

'But if you loved me, why'd you leave me? Take my body. Take my body.'  You held the pillow close to your body. 'All I want is and all I need is. To find somebody, I'll find somebody-' The music suddenly stopped. You looked up from the pillow and looked up to your Ipod. Jade stood there, her shaking her hand and frowning. "I heard what happened with you and John." Your chest tightened and you put your face back in the pillow. "Hey, it's okay. Remember when me and Dave broke up? You slapped me and told me to get over it." You smiled. Her and Dave broke up and few weeks before John broke it off with you. You looked up at Jade right as you felt a hand make contact with your cheek. The stinging pain of a slap was present. You looked at her in shock. She put both hands on her hips and looked at you sternly.

"Get over it. You and John weren't meant to be so just deal with it." You smiled and wiped your tears even though they still flowed down your face. "Thanks Jade." She smiled and walked out the door. You stayed on your bed and waited until your heard the door close before putting the song back on.

Dave popped into your head. You hugged your pillow and the tears fell. More and more. You closed your eyes. Even though you were crying, you still managed to smile and whisper softly. "Like you."
