*beep beep beep*
I turn off the alarm and try to sleep for a few extra minutes. That's until I heard my mothers screaming voice.
"KIYLA!!!!! WAKE UP! YOU DON'T WANT TO BE LATE FOR YOUR FIRST DAY AT YOUR NEW SCHOOL!"
I groaned as I slowly got out of bed and walked over to my closet to pick out an outfit. Today is the first day at my new school: Riverbend High and eh I'm not soo excited. Ever since my mom got remarried to my stepdad, Noah, it's been one hell of a rollercoaster. Ive had to move into Noah's home (since he had the bigger house and everything), I've had to tolerate Noah's son, Jacob, and of course I've had to transfer to a new school.
Once I've rooted through my closet a bit I found the perfect outfit: black jeans, with a red plaid shirt and red converse to match. I walk to my bathroom, turn on the shower water, start to take off my Hello Kitty pj's and hop in the shower.

As soon as I get out the shower, I start to hear banging.
"HURRY UP KIYLA! YOU'RE GOING TO TAKE ALL THE HOT WATER!" I hear Jacob scream outside the bathroom door.
"HOLD ON! BEAUTY TAKES TIME" I shout back.
Jacob and I have to share a bathroom together but luckily for me this is one of the places he keeps completely clean. His room is a mess! Clothes thrown everywhere, fast food bags and video game controllers all over the floor. It's a nasty pigsty!
"WELL YOU MIGHT AS WELL STAY IN THE FORVER THEN." I wrap a towel around my body, unlock the door and roll my eyes.
"Bathroom is allll yours" I say as I step out
"Thank you." He mutters mockingly and shuts the door behind him.
"Ugh whatever."
I walk to my room and start to put on my chosen outfit for today. Even though I have to wake up early in the morning and go to a new school nothing, not even Jacob or his father could ruin this day.

As I walk downstairs to say good morning to the newlyweds, I immediately smell freshly made pancakes. "Do I smell pancakes?" I ask as I make my way down the stairs.
"Yes, and I made your favorite. Cho-"
"CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES!" I hurry to the dining room and sit next to Noah where my hot, freshly made chocolate chip pancakes were. I moan as I take a big bite out of my pancakes yummy.
"If you keep moaning like that you're going to give all the boys at our school a hard-on." Jacob says as he makes his way to the dinning room.
"And if you keep talking like that everyone at our school is going to think you're annoying. Oops they already do."
"Guy's" my mom raised her voice.
"It's not my fault he started it!" I say in a pouty tone.
"Anyways'" Noah finally interjects and puts down his stupid newspaper "Are you ready for you first day of school?"
"Not really," as I take another bite out of my delicious pancakes "I mean its school. So its whatever." What I really wanted to say was "It's school and the only reason why I'm going to this stupid new school anyway is because of you." But I promised my mom I would be nice.
"I just want to make sure you are all settled in. I know the move was pretty hard for you. You moving away from all of you friends and giving up your dream school. I just want you to have a great day today."
"And she will." Jacob says and ruffles my hair "She has me."
I roll my eyes "I might as well be dead on the street. Oh and," I say as I get up and grab my car keys from the holder "touch my hair again and you will have two broken arms. Kay?"
"Bye Mom!" I say as I grab my backpack from the couch and close the door behind me.
"Have a good day, sweetie!"
I close the door behind me and start to walk to the driveway to where my brand new red Nissan was sitting. My mom got it for me for acing my drivers test a couple of weeks ago. I even got to pick the car out and everything!
"I'm so proud of you, baby." she said as she kissed my cheek
I open the car door, fasten my seatbelt, turn on the engine and put all my school stuff in the back seat. As I pull away from the driveway, I start to thin

TBH I have no idea where this story is going I don't even have a plot but I hope this story goes somewhere! 💗🎀
