"PLEASE LET ME IN!"

Mrs. Love walks over to the door and opens it. Me not knowing what to do I stand there in the front of the room like a complete idiot thankful for not being the center of attention. Whoever this kid was or looked like I'd have to keep a mental note to thank him or her later.

"Thanks for letting me in. It took me a while to find this class." This cute guy with light brown hair says

"No problem, Mr. Alexander you didn't miss much go ahead and take your seat we were actually just about to introduce a new student." He sits in the seat right across from my chair.

"Okay as I was saying class. Today we have a new student in our class and her name is Kyla."

"Hi, Kyla." Everyone says in the same monotone zombie-like voice. I awkwardly wave to the class.

"Ms. Anderson can you tell us three things about you?"

I freeze up again in front of the class. This time everyone has their eyes on me no distractions, no diversions. Nothing.

"Well.... uhm I love converse.... my favorite color is blue.... and uhm I have a very annoying stepbrother." I chuckle at the last part awkwardly and look down at the floor.

"Thank you for sharing Kyla." Ms. Love says with a smile "You can take your sit now." I hurriedly get to my sit next to Jayde and put my head down while Ms. Love does roll call.

"You did great. It wasn't as bad as you think. Your blushing was adorable though." Jayde whispers to me.

I groan and feel my cheeks getting hotter. And for the rest of the day I decided I would lay low until the end.

School was going okay so far, no one really notice or cared that I was new except for my teachers of course who made a very big deal out of it. Today I either had to stand up in front of the class and speak or I was the teachers pet basically. So much for laying low. But at least I got to see Jayde again 3rd period. Lunch was even harder to come by since I couldn't even find Jayde in this humongous cafeteria. So instead I get in the lunch line and find quiet table in the corner and read a book.

I was up to the part where Hermia realized that she actually wanted to be with Jackson.

"Can you believe that he did that?"

"He's such a jerk and a jackass. I told you not to date him."

"But you know I don't listen."

"Yeah and I know when it comes to boys your clueless."

I look up from my book and find one brunette and one blonde sitting right across from me. They were both matching from head to toe and when I say head to toe I mean head to toe.

"But at least I pick up the cute ones you pick up the geekiest one you can find."

"Well at least I pick a guy based on personality, you pick them based on whether they're hot are not."

I look down at my book and try to pick up where I left off.

"They have to be remotely hot to have a chance with me."

"They also have to have a jerkish personality to have a chance with you too."

But that's obviously not going to happen.

"First of all jerkish isn't a word and second your blonde friend is right personality comes first. Their looks will always change but their personality is forever." I say.
