*Bzz Bzz Bzz*

I groan as I roll over on my side.

"Please stop; stop ringing." I say in a sleepy voice. But I can still hear it from a distance, its ringing haunting me.

*Bzz Bzz Bzz*

"Please stop!" I say more loudly.

The buzzing totally stops. I smile and turn back around the way I was facing before and try to fall asleep once again.

*Bzz Bzz Bzz*

I groan as I get up from my bed and reach for my phone that was still buzzing on the purple nightstand.

"Finally you answered. I was getting worried." A familiar voice said over the phone "anyways I need you so come over."

"Jayde," I say as I sit on the bed "its two in the morning. What are you doing up so late?"

"I couldn't sleep. Plus I have something to tell you."

"Well then, out with it."

"It can't be said over the phone you have to come."

"But," I say in a whiney tone"do I have to?"

"Yes you do. Ill send the address. You better come bye!" Then she hangs up.

I swear this girl is going to kill me

I put on my Ugg boots and pack a blue t-shirt, dark grey pants and my all black Converse for me to wear to school tomorrow. I grab my backpack off the desk chair, walk downstairs and grab the To-Do-list of the refrigerator.

Gone to friends house. Be back this afternoon.

Love, Kyla

I put the letter back on the fridge where my mom would see. I take my keys off the key holder and open the door to the outside world. I close the door behind me and get into my dark blue Nissan.

I throw my backpack and school clothes in the back and begin to type the address in the GPS.

Turn left on Cherry Blossom Lane

I follow its direction and pull out of my drive away.

******************************************************************************************

I pass by trees and play houses and finally make it to her house

You have reached your final destination

I pull into the driveway, get my clothes and book pack from the backseat, get out the car and shut the door. The house looks like an old wood cabin in one of those fairytale movie. It's brown with a large window in front and has a little mini flower bushes growing on the sides of the houses.

I walk up to the front door, until the door suddenly opens.

"What took you soo long? You look horrible." She says wearing Minnie Mouse Pajamas on.

"Thanks Jayde and says the person who woke me up at two in the morning just to talk." I say back.

She rolls her eyes. "Anyways, come in. I have snacks upstairs." she says as she walks and goes up the stairs. I close the door behind me and follow her up the stairs.

I follow her into a beautifully purple and blue painted room with a furnished wooden desk and a chair which was filled with school books on the right of the room, a huge dresser with a flat screen on top, one huge king sized bed with dark blue covers backed up into one purple wall, a huge dresser with a flat screen TV, a walk in closet and to top it all off a balcony leading into the cold night.

"Well, this is my room." She says as she gestures towards it.

We sit in silence for a second mostly because I'm shocked. I do a few spins around the room and face back to her and muster up the only word I am able to come up with right now.

"Wow" I breathe.

"Wow what?" Is it horrible she says as she looks around her own room.

"No." I say in a hurry. "It's amazing." I laugh. "I mean compared to my room its huge."

"I do have a lot of room but its no big deal. But anyways," she says as she walks over and sits on her beautifully made bed "make yourself at home." she smiles

"I'm scared to even sit. What if I break something?"

"Oh come on!" She gets up and walks over to me dragging me along to sit on her bed. "I've got a surprise for you. Close your eyes."

"Ughhh!" I say all frustrated but I close her eyes following her demands.

"You can open them now."

I open my eyes and find an Oreo Milkshake sitting on the bed. "I remember how you said you've never tried the Oreo Milkshake from Cold Stone and I just had to get one for you."

I take the cup and place the end straw and place it in my sucking up all the Oreo Milkshake goodness from it.

"This is amazing!" I exclaim as I start to gulp down more of the Milkshake "I think I might just need one everyday from now on."

"Now hey! This is a one in a million chance you're going to have to wait until next year to get another one." She says in a very serious tone but smiles at me anyways.

"Then I'll just have to savor every delicious part."

"Exactly." She says and giggles.

For the rest of the night we talk about random girl stuff and somehow leads to talking about Joshua.

"You should ask him out." she says as we lay side by side on her bed. My eyes are feeling droopy partly because it was 4AM and I was beyond tired.

"Nahh, I don't think he would like me and plus I spilled food on the guy. I mean would you want to date a guy that spilled food on you shirt?"

"If he was cute then, yeah. You should go for it. You'll see him tomorrow."

"Hmm.... Maybe." I say

"Yay" I hear an exclaim of excitement coming from Jayde.

"Hey, Jayde" I say as I turn over to face her.

"Yes, Kyla" She says and looks at me.

"I know it's been only a day... But I'm kind of glad I met you." I say and that's the last thing I say before close my eyes.
