So this one is set in modern times, with all characters being in school. Y'know, the typical kind of story.

~~Transfer Student~~

Eren's POV.

I woke up to the piercing sound of my alarm ringing in my ears. I yawned as I rubbed my eyes. Slowly opening them, I glanced at the clock and read the time.

7AM... I guess I should get up.

I threw the covers off of me as I sat on the edge of the bed. I sleepily made my way to the bathroom to start my morning routine. I attempted to brush my teeth, even though I repeatedly nodded off. I hopped in the shower and put the water on cold to wake me up properly. My showers never take that long. When I finished, I jumped out and quickly dried myself. I slid my school uniform on, and lazily buttoned up my shirt and tied my tie.

I sluggishly stepped down the stairs and slipped my shoes on, still trying not to fall asleep. As I yawned ad squeezed my eyes shut, Mikasa took this opportunity to shove a piece of toast in my mouth. I began coughing due to lack of oxygen, small tears forming at the corners of my eyes. As I regained my breath, I began to feel a bit uneasy.

"Mikasa, why did you do that!? I couldn't breathe properly, you know? I could have d-"

"Eren, it's just toast. You need to have breakfast so you can focus at school" Mikasa stated with a monotone voice.

I rolled my eyes and picked my school bag up from the floor, slinging it over one shoulder. I opened the front door and started my journey to school

I don't want to go to this hellish place anymore. The people are the main reason why. But at least the scenery on the journey is nice.

I looked around me as I strolled along the path, looking up at the baby blue sky, and there being no clouds in sight. I could hear the birds tweeting and whistling as their mothers and fathers fed them breakfast. There was barely a breeze either, making the warmth of the sunshine feel just right. Even though I took the same route to and from school on a daily basis, I enjoyed it.

I reached the school gate and sighed, seeing so many people already.

Well, I guess I better go in. I thought to myself as I stepped onto the school's property.

"Eren! Hey, Eren!" I heard a male's voice call out. I turned around and noticed the male was my friend Armin. I became friends with the blonde when he noticed that I wasn't really like everyone else.

I'm the type of person that walks alone in the group of 3, the one that people choose last in sports, the one that doesn't get invited to parties, then to have them reminisce about it in front of me.

Armin and I made our way through the school corridors, heading to our first lesson. I sat at my desk, at the back of the room, next to the window. We were a little early, so I just sat in my seat, staring out the window, like any other day. I began to hear the flood of footsteps enter the room, followed by the chatters of other students as they gathered around their desks. The students began to fall to silence, making me remove my gaze from the window to look for the reason behind the silence. I noticed that the teacher, Mr. Ackerman, hand entered the room and began to prepare for the class.

"Okay, everyone, I want you all to be nice and welcoming as we have a new student today." Mr Ackerman stated, in his usual monotone voice. Not long after, a male entered the room, about my height, with two-toned hair and a surprisingly horse-like face. "Tell us a bit about yourself."

"H-Hi everyone. I'm Jean Kirstein and I've transferred here from Germany. I like gaming and rock music." The other male said with a shy voice as he attempted a smile, showing his nervousness. All this time, I couldn't take my eyes off of him. Even though he looked kind of horsey, he was still handsome. I was snapped from my thoughts when Mr. Ackerman's voice pierced through my ears.
