---Lyssa's Pov---

I needed to find more information on this secret that Zoe and Near are keeping from me, I suppose it doesn't have to be important for them to hide it from me, but this is about my past, so I am quite certain that it's important, and i'm sure Eileen knows about it too considering the fact that it happened so long ago and was around solely them from what I can remember. Looking up I was stunned when I realized that class had been dismissed five minutes ago and everyone had left, meanwhile I sat there like an imbecile. I got up from off the floor and walked out, throwing out a monotonous 'goodbye' as I left. I went straight to my room, and spent a few hours drawing nothing in particular, the 'secret' on my mind the whole time.Eventually, enough time had passed that the sun had set and I realized it was time for dinner, and I didn't want to go hungry, so I gathered my thoughts as I headed down to the cafeteria. I shouldn't be so wrapped up in this situation all the time, it's not healthy, I spent the whole day thinking about it, maybe I should go hang with Near or see what Eileen's up to presently. As I was walking, I put my thumb to my lips, deep in thought, so deep in thought that I bumped into what seemed as tough as a brick wall, and was thrown to the floor by the force. The person who I bumped into was also pushed to the floor, and I looked at the person I had collided with into, only to be filled with dread to see Zoe glaring at me. I threw out my apologies as I rose to my feet and looked her in the eye. She only seemed to get angrier as I apologized and I could tell she was about to grab my collar and shout at me, or worse. I turned around and was about to walk away when she grabbed my shoulders and yanked me back before I could get away, her nails digging into my skin as she dragged me back. I don't know what came over me, but I screamed in complete terror and yanked away from her. I caught a glimpse of Zoe's face , pure shock dominated her expression then, but I didn't care , I started running as fast as my feet could take me, tears streaming down my face like they hadn't for so long as I headed toward my room, slamming the door, covering up and crying till I couldn't anymore. When I had finished sobbing, I instantly fell asleep, not being able to keep awake for long after my emotional outburst..

---Eileen's Pov---

I stared in shock, not expecting that kind of reaction, especially from Lyssa. I thought I should leave her alone for the day, not wanting to bother her. Shrugging it off I went on with my day like usual, mostly talking to Matt and going through the day. When we finally made it back to our room, Matt instantly got on his game console and played video games while I went online. Soon it was after midnight and I decided to turn in. 'I hope Lyssa's alright, she's never experienced this kind of thing before, or at least that she remembers'..

---The Next Day---

I wonder if Lyssas ok now, she should be fine right? Well, I'm sure I'll see her at breakfast , I'll see how she is then. As soon as I got ready and headed to the cafeteria, I went through the line and came to our regular spot and saw everyone was already there when I sat down, all except one that is. I looked around and saw Lyssa was nowhere to be found, and continued to look around till I finally spotted her. She was sitting all by herself at a table at the other end of the cafeteria. Her expression was almost like normal, but it had a tinge of something I couldn't quite figure out.. fear maybe?I was about to go ask her why she was sitting alone, but then Near came up to me. "Hello Eileen, do you happen to know where Lyssa is?" he immediately questioned, I turned and pointed at the table. I was almost turned around when I noticed a strange expression on his face, almost.. sadness? It was too fast to tell, and he quickly walked up to her and sat down. A few minutes later, I looked back and noticed that they had left. 'hmm, what's going on with those two?'

---Nears Pov ---

---earlier that day---

'I wonder where Lyssa is? I haven't seen her all day, to be honest I really miss having her around' I thought, slightly blushing and smiling all the while. As soon as I had gotten back from dinner, I headed straight for our room and stopped at the door. I was about to open it as quietly as I could when I heard a scream from inside the room and I immediately burst in. I looked to see Lyssa on her bed crying, which was a rare sight. Not even thinking to hide my emotions, I ran to her and put my arms around her, pulling her into a tight hug. after a few minutes, she stopped crying, and being extremely worried, I asked "what's wrong? Why are you crying?" and moved her head to look up at me. "w-well, I had this h-horrible nightmare, I k-know it sounds silly, but it f-felt so real, I was being tortured in s-some attic" she stuttered, shaking terribly, and my eyes widened in horror, I shook it off before hugging her tighter and said "it's ok, I'm here, it was only a dream". A while later after she calmed down and had fallen back asleep, I returned to my own bed, looking over at her as she slept peacefully, before I finally turned in for the night as well..

---The Next Day---

---Eileen's Pov---

I decided I would find out what's going on with Lyssa, she had been acting more strange than usual. The only way I could find out, since I knew for a fact that she wasn't going to tell me, was to look at her drawings from the past few weeks. I crept slowly over to her room and was about to open the door when the door swung open, and revealed Lyssa. "Do you need something" she asked with a straight face and same monotone as usual. "No, I was just seeing if you were here so we could go to breakfast" I said, quickly making up an excuse. She stared me down, obviously debating whether I was lying or not, and after a minute or so, decided I wasn't. "Ok, then let's go" and we were off, 'dammit, I should have come up with something else, now i'm gonna have to wait for another opportunity to present itself' I thought as I walked. When I got to the table after getting my food, I noticed that everyone was sitting there, even Lyssa. Breakfast that day was pretty awkward, at least I thought it was. Matt and me were just having light conversation, Mello and Zoe were surprisingly not as obnoxious as usual, and Zoe and Near were looking everywhere but at the group. Finally, after what seemed like FOREVER, we all retreated to our rooms, except for Near and Lyssa, who went outside to get some fresh air. I suddenly saw my chance, and as soon as they exited the building, I darted towards their room, grabbed her sketchbook, and darted out. I didn't stop till I had closed the door to my room. Lyssa usually puts her old drawings in a folder after about a month or two, which in turn she locks them in a drawer so no sneak thief can get their hands on them, so they should be in here since we haven't been here for long. I took the drawings out and looked at them each separately. Most of them were harmless pictures of Zoe yelling at her, and some were of Near, not something to be concerned about, but every picture after that went downhill. "Pictures after pictures of the school, the room where they were tortured, and faces of the people who were in on it. Horrified, I dropped the papers, them spilling out on the floor, 'I have to tell Zoe about this as soon as possible, I need her help to get some explanation as to why she's starting to remember , this is definitely not going to end well, that's for certain'..
