The two she-cats sat on the large rock and exchanged glances. "Let's hope we get answers tonight." Cherrywhisker said.

"Yeah." Flamefur agreed.

Both of the cats curled up and closed their eyes. When Flamefur opened her eyes again she was no longer on the Moon Rock. She was standing in a beautiful field with many different flowers, yet there were dark ominous clouds looming overhead. Also, it was cold and windy. Suddenly a cat she didn't recognized appeared in front of her.

"Why have I been getting visions?"

"The water may seem clear but when it turns dark the fire will roar on."

"Wait that doesn't-"

Before Flamefur could finish what she was saying everything went black and she opened her eyes again only to be back on top of the Moon Rock. She saw Cherrywhisker start to wake up. "Did you see what just happened?" Flamefur asked.

"Yes."

"We should tell Bluefire! He'll want to hear about this!"

"Agreed."

"The cat said 'The water may seem clear but when it turns dark the fire will roar on.'" Flamefur said. Bluefire's whiskers twitched. "What could that mean?"

"Well, it obviously has something to do with our clan and Water Clan."

"What about the part where the cat said that the water will turn dark?"

"I dunno."

Bluefire stood up and shook his long, sleek, grey fur. "Wanna go hunting with me?"

"Why not?"

The two cats padded through the forest in silence. "Do you know who Owlstar is taking to the gathering tonight?" Flamefur asked, breaking the silence.

"Yeah, and you're going."

"Good, I wouldn't want to miss it since I'm having such scary visions!"

Bluefire silenced Flamefur with a swift swish of his tail. He then pointed his tail at a vole. They both crouched and focused on the prey. He then gave Flamefur a tiny nod and she nodded in response. Flamefur slowly padded up to the vole then she launched towards it. Suddenly, she crashed into Bluefire and both the cats went rolling down a small ditch. "I though I was gonna catch it!" Flamefur laughed.

"I thought you wanted me to catch it!"

Both of the cats laughed it off then climbed out of the shallow ditch. "We should catch something before we head back to camp." Bluefire meowed. His blue eyes revealed nothing.

"Yeah," Flamefur mumbled,"we should."

Flamefur and Bluefire ended up goofing off the entire time, so they didn't catch a single mouse. Owlstar called together some cats so they could go to the gathering. Once they left Bluefire slowed down to walk by Flamefur. "I wonder what we'll discover tonight." Bluefire mused.

"Yeah, something strange is going on and our entire clan won't listen."

They continued on side-by-side until finally they were at Two Stones. Flamefur and Bluefire padded into the large clearing and Flamefur could see Owlstar climb onto one rock and Fallstar onto the other. "Let's begin!" Fallstar yelled so that every-cat could hear him. His amber eyes went to slits and his brown fur raised along his spine.

"My clan and I believe that Fire Clan has been stealing our prey! Not to mention deliberately making your territory bigger and bigger without us knowing!"

Owlstar stood up. "We have done no such thing!"

"Then, explain how your stench has gotten onto our territory!"

"Surely, our scent just drifted onto your territory due to the wind!"

"Excuses! That's what I hear!"

"My clan would never steal a scrap of your prey!"

"Just admit it!"

"We didn't steal your prey and we aren't expanding our territory!"

"So be it. If we smell your Fire Clan stench on our side of the border you'll pay!"

That must have been a clear sign to Water Clan that the gathering was over because they almost immediately stood up. Flamefur shouldered her way through the crowd to meet up with Bluefire. Since he was deputy he was required to sit at the base of the Fire Clan Stone.

"Flamefur!" He called.

"Hey!"

Once they were beside each other they both lowered their voices. "War is definitely coming." Bluefire said.

"Yeah."

"We've got to tell Cherrywhisker about this!"

"Right, as soon as we get to camp I'm telling her!"

"This is something that shouldn't wait til' morning!"

The two cats hurried back to camp, pelts brushing each other as they walked.
