Flamefur could see things no other cat could. Her clan saw it as a burden and so did she. Until one day Flamefur realized that it wasn't just her imagination. Her clan depends on her for their survival. But will they realize that before it's too lat...
The calico immediately shoved Flamefur to the ground and went for her throat but she was easily able to dodge his bite and Flamefur raked her claws down his shoulder but he didn't even flinch. He got hold of her throat and slowly bit down just to cause her more pain. Flamefur flailed around trying to throw him off. He then sank his teeth in so deep that Flamefur heard a loud click as his teeth met. Flamefur unsheathed her claws and battled at his stomach so hard that he flew off and landed a few tail lengths away from her.
"Why don't you just surrender now? Make it easy for yourself!"
"Never!" Flamefur screamed although it caused her throat great pain to even speak, to even breath, to even... Her vision because blurred. She shut her eyes for a moment.
Don't give up! Save the Clan! Flamefur told herself over and over. She opened her eyes wide and locked them with his. She then sprinted towards him and smashed into him head first and the impact was so powerful that he flew into a large rock and slumped into the ground. Flamefur's ears were ringing as she raced towards him. He struggled to stand up and Flamefur knocked him over once more.
"You are a truly powerful cat... But not as strong as the dead!" With that he vanished and was behind her in an instant he pinned her to the ground.
"I'll see you soon!" He then ripped even deeper into her throat. Blood splashed the ground in front of Flamefur and she collapsed into a pool of blood. She trembled and gasped in pain.
"Sh... There's no need to fight any longer," he cooed.
Flamefur attempted to stand but found that she couldn't.
"Just relax and I'll see you soon in your new home!"
"Flamefur!" Bluefire had come! He locked eyes with the calico.
"No! Don't he'll kill you!" Flamefur croaked.
"But Flamefur I-"
The calico sat down "You may say your goodbyes to her now." He smiled wickedly then vanished.
"This is all my fault! Please, don't die... I need you! I love you..." A tear fell from his eye onto Flamefur's cheek.
"I love you, too. Stay strong and lead Fire Clan well."
Flamefur's eyes then shut.
"I will... We would've had beautiful kits together."
