As she walked across the shores of the Caribbean Willow couldn't help but stare at the tree line. The air was salty and the water was clear and blue. She was walking with a machete in hand and sand on her knees. She twirled around as she heard some roaring from behind the palm trees. Willow checked her surroundings making sure nothing was coming for her in any direction when suddenly the ground beneath her started to sink. She threw her machete to the side and tried to cling onto the nearby ground to climb out. "Not again" she said as she sighed.
All looked lost until she found a nearby vine and grabbed onto it trying to pull herself up. After she was fully out of the sinkhole she tried to regain herself. Once she recovered she picked up her machete and continued to walk the tree line. Willow was aware of her surroundings, but was caught off guard when a giant leopard leaped from out of the tree line and blocked her path. Willow raised her machete, but that seemed to threaten the leopard more then scare it off. She didn't know what to do so she just ran. She ran through the tree line and into the Forrest hoping for the best. "Don't trip" she told herself as she ran past vines and tree limbs. She felt her adrenaline kick in and felt like she started to run faster. She felt a laugh escape her throat as she looked back not seeing the leopard at all. When she looked forward she tripped on a vine just as the leopard pounced in front of her. She felt her body fold with her feet under her and chest falling forward. Her face was buried in the dirt until she looked up to see the leopard prowling towards her. Willow reached around for the machete and couldn't find it until she looked and it was what felt like 10 feet away from her.
It circled around her until it stopped at her feet. Her body aches and she was in so much pain and to add on top of it the leopard dug its claws into her leg. She moaned out of pain and swore she heard it purring as it dug them deeper into her skin. All she could do was look up at the sky. She focused on how blue it was and how the clouds seemed to be propitationally shaped. She felt her skin tear and warm fluid drip out of her. Willow didn't want to look down, but figured the leopard had bore his teeth into her. The air was clear and she couldn't help, but feel at peace. "It's beautiful" she told herself as she felt her spirit slipping away. Right as she felt her soul leave her body their was a loud alarm. She jolted up to see the leopard running away. She took one last look at the beach and the forest and all her surrounds. The alarm wouldn't stop she closed her eyes, but when she opened them she was in her room staring at the ceiling.
The alarm was still going and willow had to get out of the bed to stop it. She rubbed her eyes and looked around her room and sighed. "Another day in paradise" she told her self as she chuckled. She turned her speakers on and the song "Brain Stew" by Green Day played. Once she was ready for school she headed out the door playing with her keys and walking out the front door. Willow locked it as she walked out and headed for her jeep. She drove to school and headed to her first period. Willow didn't really like her first period and preferred to spend her time in the library so she stopped by every morning before she headed for class. "Sup Dollface" Alexandria told her as she walked in. "Hey boo" Willow told her as she hugged her. Alexandria went by Alex and had been friends with Willow ever since the same guy asked both of them out and tried to get away with it.
"So it happen again" Willow said.
"Well what happened this time" Alex asked intrigued.
"Well. All I can for sure tell you was I almost got swallowed by a sink hole. Twice! And I'm pretty sure a leopard ate my leg or foot. One of those" Willow said as she chuckled. All Alex did was give her an odd look. "What?" Willow asked.
"I just don't see how this is normal to you" Alex said.
"Well all i can say is you get use to it after a while" Willow said as she started to walk out.
"Talk to you later" Alex said with a smile.
"Of course my dear" Willow said as she opens the door and walked out.
