The next morning Willow woke up feeling really hot. Her forehead was slightly covered in sweat. She went to wipe it off and said"Gross". Willow decided to walk over to her vanity mirror and look at her reflection. She stood there for a span of about four minuets before she sighed and walked into her bathroom. When she turned the light on she looked at her reflection again and then suddenly felt an intense pain in her stomach. "Uh Oh" she said out loud as she through her self towards her toilet. Right when she stuck her head by the seat she smelt the air and all she could feel was an intense burning pain in her throat. Willow held her hair back as best as she could while she felt her insides turn and flip. Once she was done spilling her insides, she got up brushed her teeth, washed her mouth, and then went to her mom's room to tell her she was not going to attend school today.

Willow slowly crept through the dark hallway to her mothers room. She felt as if there was someone with her. Willow just stopped in her tracks as she felt as if someone came up from behind and felt her shoulders. "Stop" she said out loud. It seemed as though once she said that the person or thing following her vanished. She stood there for a couple of seconds before she started walking towards her mother's room again. She quietly knocked and waited for a reply, but no one answered. She knocked again, but this time a little harder. Still nothing. Willow did this again until she finally got fed up and just slowly opened the door.

 "Mom..." she said quietly.

"Mom" Willow repeated a little louder.

"Mother!" she said with attitude.

"Yes?" her mother asked lightly.

"So I woke up in a sweat, and I don't feel good. So I went to go to the bathroom and I ended up throwing up.But nothing got dirty. I threw up in the toilet." Willow said.

"What's your temperature?" her mom asked.

"I don't know. I will have to check with your thermometer. Partly why I have you up at 5:45 in the morning." At this point Willow did not know why her mom was asking so many questions. She never really skipped school or not at least with the excuse of her being sick.  Her mom finally got up and out of bed. Willow entered the room slowly until her mom met her at her dresser with a thermometer and stuck it in her mouth. They heard a slight beeping and checked what it read. "100.3, Guess you are staying home today." Her mom said as she gave her some ibuprofen. "Take these and then get some rest."

Willow took the pills then went to her room. She got her iPod and played in her bed. She sat there for a while just staring at the ceiling and contemplated life. She finally played the song "Dirty Water" by Marc E. Bassy and closed her eyes. She felt her being slip into another dimension, but she didn't fight it. She just let it happen.

When Willow opened up her eyes she was on a beach laying in the sand. She sat up scratching sand out of her hair. She looked around to see a tropical jungle to her left and a clear lagoon to her right. "Supplies...Where yah at?" she said outlaid as she stood up. The beach was clear of any objects and was practically uninhabited. Willow looked down to see her t-shirt and pajama pants had changed into a bikini top and running shorts. She had a hair tie on her wrists so she put her hair in a bun and started making her way down the beach. She searched the beach for about five minuets before she started to get frustrated and walk towards the jungle.

Willow just glanced one last time at the beach then headed for the tree line. Once she entered the jungle the relaxing setting melted away and she felt more venerable then ever. She kept her eyes in front of her and her ears were picking up on every sound it felt like. Willow walked about five feet into the jungle before she saw a string backpack filled with item and a machete. She let out a sigh of relief and went to retrieve the bag. Knowing there was no one else on the island she couldn't help, but feel as if someone was watching her. When she unpacked everything in the bag she had a canteen for water, double bladed knife, rope, and some fishing line along with a hook. Willow started on her way through the jungle as it slowly started to rain. "Man" she said openly. "I wish I had some sort of way to see above the tree line. Like if I had wings or something."

The more she walked the more tired her legs got. Just once it seemed as if she was ready to quite she heard a growl. Willow did not even take time to look, she just ran. She ran as fast as she could. She was in fight or flight mode and flight mode took over. She was barely watching wear she was going and ended up falling and slipping off the side of a ledge. As she was falling not only onto branches, but what felt like every rock she could feel her ribs cracking under pressure. Each hit felt like it was realizing fluid into her lungs, until she finally stopped and landed in a river. She landed with her face down in the water and it felt like it took every ounce of strength she had left in her to turn herself upward. Once she got her self upward she just laid there in the river letting the cool water wash over her body. Her body got adjusted to the temperature of the water and it felt as if it had helped her ribs rather then hurt them.

Willow finally felt at peace as she laid in the river looking into the sky and soaked up it's beauty. When she felt her self about to drift to sleep she felt as if something swam by her. It didn't startle her she just figured it was the current and didn't even it  acknowledge it. When she suddenly felt something wrap its self around her. She suddenly was pulled under the water. She tried to adjust and see a Python with its self wrapped around her rib cage and neck. All of a sudden she felt this intense burning all around her stomach and neck. She felt like she was swallowing fire. Her lungs suddenly were empty and she felt as if her very being was getting stripped from her. Once she was out of breath she looked up and everything faded to black. There was nothing left, but the emptiness and darkness surrounding her.

She suddenly opened her eyes and she was back in bed at home. Her sheets were soaked with water from which she thought was water from the river she was in. Willow knew that staying home from school was gonna suck, and not just because she knew she was gonna be bored, but also because she knew she was going to be stuck at home with her mother.
