During our preparation week we had a media day with the press. It was pretty exciting to answer all the questions. They mostly asked about how we feel about playing the Singhampton Vikings who came 1st and are our competition for the finals, but one of the questions that stood out from a reporter was my condition and my availability for the big game. My response was "I never before have been so anxious to play a game in my life, I'm playing and I'm ready to help this team become provincial champions!" But besides from all that we practiced like usual.
Getting to the arena all thoughts where ball, dressing room was complete silence and focus. Coach was prepared and so were we. Are warm up was one of the strongest warm ups we've had. But during the pre-game I noticed many familiar faces in the stands. There was at least five scouts, but my mind is still and only on the game.
