As prom night slowly approaches I was not prepared at all. I needed a dress and the time just seems to fly past.
"He finally asked you! I thought his balls would never drop" Mindy my other close said. More like laughed.
She continued to laugh as I looked at the shoes trying to ignore her.
"Shut up about Derek. It just take a longer time for certain people to you know. I guess grow a pair. How about you huh"
She rolled her eyes and refused to reply. "Answer me."
"You know what. When are you going to tell him. Are you just going to keep this up. Prom night is almost here and you know that something going to happen and he's going to find out"
"Shut up about that already. So what if I'm a you know what. That won't change anything"
"Hunny...just keep that in mind when that night come"
"Goodbye" I say picking up the box of black flats to go pay for them.
She's just trying to scare me. Derek wouldn't care right?
I paid for the shoes and grabbed the bag.
I got in my car and went to the store to get food.
"Hello?" I dropped a bag of chips in t cart and pushed it around.
"Hey baby can you meet me later tonight once you're done. I miss you and I want to see you again"
"I just saw you last night"
"But it was so short."
"I also saw you this morning and made you food"
"It tasted so good too. I want you over here by 8 in my lap"
I smiled and felt my stomach twist.
"Alright baby boy. I'll listen to you so whatever you want." I giggled and hung up.
I picked up a few more things before standing in the checkout line.
"Hey Jayde. Haven't talked to you in awhile" I turned around to see Aiden.
"Yeah it's been awhile" I tried to keep it moving so he would stop talking to me. "So Um is there any chance we could hang out again or did your boyfriend blow that shot for me?
I hesitated before answering. "I'm not yet. I'm sorry for just blowing you off like that and just ignoring you. I've just found someone different.
"Well..." He looked into my eyes "I just hope he treats you well. Just know that I can please you better than any other guy" He said whispering in my ear.
