(Music)-Waltz of the Damned Kingdom Hearts II

We continued to train, It's been about a month since I made him my student. He was close to Apprentice rank, finally, And i'm practically Expert rank. I almost have all the skills an expert would. Or so it claims in the Ninja ranking scroll. The library has been really useful in helping me find out all this information on previous ninjas. Soon i will need more apprentices to train, a two man army is not enough. I looked around and thought it was quite peaceful this past month, how long has it been since i've discovered this place? Probably around 3 months now.
"Alright, Zexel, let's if your actually ready to become a Apprentice." I said to him while we stood in a fairly large room. At first i wasn't sure what this room was used for but, if i had to guess it would be to test ninjas.
"Alright, let's do this!" he responded. He seems very excited and is always ready whenever i test him.
"Hmm, the first test would be to fight with me, let me see your strength." I spoke.
"We may Begin!" i shouted and immediately he dashed at me with his katanas. He's gotten better, no doubt, I will have to go easy on him, If I used my full strength this wouldn't be much of a test. I easily blocked his attacks and every now and then would attack him to see if he would block or dodge in the situation. Finally i concluded he was strong enough, he passed the test of strength, so to conclude our battle i jabbed him in the stomach with the end of my staff.
"What was that for!" Zexel said as he crouched in pain.
"That was my way of saying, you passed the first test!" I replied in a happy voice.
"Alright what's next?" he asked, still on the floor, trying to sound tough.
"Next test is to get up" I replied.
"I think i've failed this test." he said after laughing.
"alright back to work, your next test will be to see how well you perform on the job, I will send you on small missions to see how well you can do."
"Alright, what have ya got for me?" Zexel asked.
"You must go and kill the leader of the bandit camp that is occupying the roads between Dawn's Shadow and Redorans Retread. You can't miss him." I answered.
"Alright, I'll be back!"
Roughly an hour passed before he returned, I expected it to take around this long, mostly just for him to get there and back.
"How'd you do?" I asked him
"I beat them... They were easy" He replied.
"I need to hear the details" I told him.
He explained what happened from when he left to when he arrived, I was pleased with how things went. He did well, so I decided to let him take the final test. The test of Evasion, to test his ability to survive in tough situations, call on whats the right choice to make, and weather he should stay or leave, also how well he could sneak.
"The final test will be to test your regular ninja abilities, abilities that all ninjas should have."
"Okay, What must I do Xelie?" he responded
Just then I sensed another presence, I don't know how, I just knew someone else was here, in the temple.
"Follow me, I believe we have an Intruder" I whispered to Zexel.
I ran down the hall silently and it seemed like Zexel was doing a good job at concealing all sound as well. I looked to see who was there, It was members of the Fire Clan, They've found out where our Clan is! They had a scroll in their hands. I did not recognize it. How'd they find something in my clan that not even i knew the location of?! They all seemed at least Adept level. There was about 6 of them, and even with Zexel with me, this may be tough.
"I will take on the 5, you focus on one for now" I whispered to Zexel.
"Are you sure you can handle them all?" Zexel responded.
"Don't worry about me, For now, Be focused and prepared to fight."
They stopped moving, They know we are here. It's now or never. I dashed in, Staff in hand ready, I shouldn't underestimate them I thought. they turned around and saw me coming, They dashed forwards as well. Quickly they surrounded me and each attacked, Their weapons varied from Katanas to Staffs to Nun chucks. Surprisingly, their attacks were all fairly slow and i was able to dodge each attack, then i kicked one of them that used the katana, grabbed him and threw him back down the hall.
"He's yours!" I yelled to Zexel, and saw him go on to fight his opponent.
I then jumped back on the opening, and they were now lined up in front of me. None of them really skilled. I ran forward, Hit one in the stomach, then as he crouched, in the head. I Spun my Staff and the blades appeared from both ends and used it to disarm the one that was about to attack me, His katana then got launched back, and he was left with one. I then spun the staff and removed the blades, and hit him in the head, he fell to the ground. I figured i should end this quick. I blocked each of the remaining three's attacks and then grabbed one, threw him into the air, and punched him as hard as i could, which knocked him out and sent him flying back. The remaining two looked at me, fear in their eyes, but they knew they couldn't run, I almost felt bad for them...Almost. I jabbed one of them in the forehead with my staff and the other i got behind and hit him on the back of his neck. They all were left unconscious, so i looked to see how Zexel was doing. He was still in combat, they seemed to be equally matched, until the Fire ninja's attack knocked Zexel's katana out of his hand. Zexel switched his stance to fight with one sword. Perfect, Exactly what i expected him to do! the Fire ninja then attacked with both swords and Zexel blocked. but I could tell he was getting tired. He was slightly overpowered and the Fire ninja was able to knock his other sword out of his hand, and Zexel was left with no sword. I decided it was time for me to Interfere. I threw my Staff directly at his head, he was a slightly knocked forward, then turned around, but by the time he turned, I was right in front of him, and Punched him in the stomach. He then fell unconscious.
"Thanks" Zexel said.
"No problem, and you did good for your current level of strength, Now to find out what was in their hands." I replied.
I went over to see what the man was holding in his hands, No doubt it was one of our scrolls. I opened up to find out that I couldn't quite read it. How strange. But I knew that there was one other person who probably could.
"Zexel, Tie them up and secure them, Once they awaken, ask them about the scroll. Consider this your first test as an Apprentice ninja. I must go and confirm something..."
"Consider it done, And...be careful! " He replied.
"Later" I responded and was off.
