As Zexel continued to train himself, so did I. But it seemed his training was much slower. He learns things much more slower then did, but I maybe it's cause I naturally learn things quickly. None the less, he is still making progress. He has chosen the dual katanas as his weapon, the offensive weapon. That's were he needs to teach himself, I'm fairly good with the staff, but i haven't used the katanas before. Well, he is still just a novice, by the time he's Adept like me, he will probably be fine with them.
"Strike faster! It's like your attacks are in slow motion!" yelled Xelie as they sparred. I figured the only way for him to learn is for him to fight me with them, lucky for him, I'm holding back.
"I'm trying! Your just to quick!" Zexel yelled back, as he hit my staff with his sword. I then pulled out the blades at the ends of the staff and spun it around his sword, which unarmed one of his two katanas.
"Hey!"
"What will you do if this is real battle, and you get disarmed, You need to learn to fight just as good with one katana, if that were to happen." replied Xelie.
Zexel sighed and continued to fight. It's true, he has made progress in the last week or so, but could still use much improvement.
"Alright enough of this, it's about time to train your Chakra" I said after a few more minutes or sparring him
"Chakra, what's that?" Asked Zexel
"It is your inner energy It helps not only in combat but other ways as well." I replied.
"How do i train that?"
"Meditation, Connecting yourself with nature, there are many ways. We should start with Meditation though. Once you unlock your Chakra it will help you more."
"Alright, lets do this." Replied Zexel.
That's pretty much how things were for a while. Moving, slow but still making progress, nothing to out of the ordinary. But the closer he gets to Apprentice, I also make my way to Expert. The scroll said expert was the final rank, so I wonder how powerful they were. it said they were some of the strongest ninjas out there. Which seems to be so close, yet so far away.
