My date with Zoe went great! I took her to a picnic on a cliff on the outskirts of New York that looked over the city that never sleeps and we just ate and talked for hours on end and it was indescribable. She talked to me about Puerto Rico and her life there, her dream of being a musician, her family, and why she decided to move to New York. I talked to her about England and my life there, my dreams about being a photographer (which lead to her surprising me when she said she liked photographing as well but didn't know much about it which of course lead to me promising her I'd teach her a few things), my little sister and the boys. We spent the whole night there talking right up until 2:00 a.m. when we realised the time and that we had work later on that day we decided we should get going but of course that didn't make the fact that we still took as much time as possible to pack everything up and get it in the car and then the drive to her house I admit I was going as slowly as I possibly could without looking too suspicious and she didn't seem to mind. And we can't forget the perfect kiss in front of her door (like in all of those cheesy romance comedies girls like so much) to end a perfect night. It's been two weeks since that and we've been on a few dates since. On our last date I asked her to be my girlfriend and she (surprisingly) said yes. After she had said yes she laughed at my highly surprised face and tugged on my hand (that was intertwined with hers) so we could continue on our walk through central park. What can I say? Making her my girlfriend was one small step for humanity and one giant step for Axel kind....or something like that. Now two days after officially labelling our relationship (even though it was kind of unnecessary since Zoe and I already referred to each other as boyfriend and girlfriend) I am hanging with the guys since they've been complaining that all my time goes to work, studying and my girlfriend (I love saying that), so here we are (it's a Sunday by the way)! The guys are playing video games in the living room of Jackson's apartment while I am in the kitchen making myself a sandwich since I am STARVING. After I'm done making my sandwich I sit on the sofa that faces the big screen TV in between Jackson and Luke who were sitting on opposite ends. They get intense when playing and can't sit directly next to each other while doing so unless they want to end in a fight so I'm forced to sit in between them when they play video games together. Speaking of which, I'm surprised they didn't start fighting while I was making myself the sandwich. As if Jackson could read my mind, he spoke. "We paused the game while you were making your sandwich." Oh, that makes sense then. Luke saw my face of realisation and chuckled(my expressions are way too easy to read). After a few hours of us alternating on who plays who we stopped playing altogether and ordered a pizza. Once wee were seated on the dining room eating away at our pizza we started to talk about pointless stuff really. Until of course they brought up Zoe. "So man, when are you meeting her family?" I thought for a moment before shrugging. "I don't know. I mean I already know her mum since well she's my boss, but I don't really know about the rest of her family. I think they live back in Puerto Rico." I shrug again when I finish explaining and the boys nod their head. "Okay then, when will she meet your family then?" I snort at the thought of Zoe meeting my parents before shaking my head almost chuckling at the guys. "Don't think she will. My family isn't anything I want her to be around." The guys nodded before Luke decided to say something. "We get that, but she'll want to meet them at some point. What will you do then?" I shrugged yet again (I've shrugged so much, gosh). "I'll cross that bridge when I get to it I guess."
