Not Everybody's Gonna Like You
Not everyone's gonna like you. You could be the nicest person on Earth and one person will find a reason to hate your guts.
For some people, this is pretty hard to digest. They want to be liked by everyone and to live a happy life but frankly, that's not how life or society works.
Sometimes someone will find your smallest flaw and jump on it, whether they know you or not.
Other times, people will get to know you and make the conclusion that they think your shady or your eyes don't seem right or some other crappy reason to hate you.
Sometimes, people will make assumptions about you from another person. To me, that is utterly stupid.
Rumors can be spread so quickly that in a matter of minutes someone could easily dislike you without even talking to you. Most of the time, they're not even true, they're just assuming things about you from what they've heard.
The internet doesn't help with this. Unlike saying something that can be forgotten, once you post something on Twitter, Facebook, or even down in the comments, it's open to hundreds of people to look and see what you've said before you could think it through.
It also doesn't help when you can't really establish feelings over the Internet. You could be joking but the person on the other side of the conversation might not get your sarcasm.
Just be aware of people's feelings, will ya?
