When I was a kid, I always thought that it would be great if I own a big, fancy house. A bungalow, or double-storey semi detached at least. The older I become, I imagine to have a luxurious apartment, fully furnished. Modern interior, with a bit of chic touch. 3 bedrooms, with private bathroom for the masters, complete with a cosy bath tub. Living room decorated with a small hanging pendant, or even diamond chandelier. 60' flat screen plasma television. 3-seats black leather sofa, custom design, embedded with Swarovski buttons. Super fluffy carpet, imported from Dubai. The apartment will have a modern look, dominated by dark purple-black color, with a hinge of off-white here and there. Not forgotten some big-framed family photos on the wall.
Then, I realize. There are more in life, than accessorizing house. We should differentiate our needs and wants. We all don't need a house, we need a home. A home is a place where our heart wants to be after a long tiring day. It need not be a bungalow. It might be a small hut, but everyone in it is happy.
Create a home from love for everyone, not a house to be loved by everyone.
